About Me
Hi my name is kim Taverner. I had my first Ofsted inspection in March 2018 and received a good grade. I have had a second Ofsted inspection in August and received a good grade again.I live in welwyn garden city with my fiancé and my three children aged 19 and 18 and 13.
We will be have our dog called Leo. I have am fully registered childminder I am ready and excited to look after your children and see the children develop and grow. I only pick up from Creswick school and Swallow Dell school.
My Experience
I have experience with children as I have three children of my own. So I now how to nurture them. I have been childminding for 9 years and I love it.I love seeing the children make friends and development in communication and language, Personal social and development and physical development. Also teaching the children key life skills ready for school.
My Qualifications
I have a qualification in chldminding. I am fully trained in paediatric first aid. Also I have trained in safeguarding. I have recently pass my level 3 childcare. I have also passed a level 2 in Autism.

I have a Monday Wednesday and Friday from end of February and full time space from September

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My fees are £7.50an hour. Siblings are £14 per hour. So £7.00 per child.

Kim has been taking care of my daughter (Nicole) for almost 2 years (full time). By the way my daughter was acting, it was very clear from the beginning that she really enjoyed being with Kim and her family. She sometimes didn't want to come home or was asking about Kim during weekends or even she was calling me 'Kim' :).
Kim was very understanding and accommodating about my requirements. She is very reliable and honest and CARING.
I am sure we will both miss Kim once this experience with her will be finished but will definitely come back to her once our second child will be ready for childminding.
I highly recommend Kim as a childminder with no second thoughts!!

Kim looked after my 2 year twins on a Thursday for approximately one year. She had such a calm, natural and caring manner that I always knew they were in great hands. The twins now have a nanny due to me changing my hours but still regularly ask to go to. ‘Kim’s house’. Kim was really flexible and always tried to accommodate me if I needed to pick the children up late or switch days. The girls did lots of activities with Kim and went to various play groups and outings. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kim to any parent and I know my girls would love to see her again in future!
