About Me
I am a 23 year old student who has just received a 1st in Social Psychology Bachelors Degree of Science (Hons). I am also planning to begin my PHD in Adolescent and Child Psychotherapy in September 2021. I am very family orientated and being the eldest of 23 cousins has meant that I have always had experience caring for younger children. In my spare time away from family, I like to read and also engage in writing poetry and novels myself; literature is a passion for me. I am very open, kind and nurturing which I believe is the reason I am able to form secure and strong relationships with the children I encounter almost immediately. I am happy to work with all ages.
My Experience
Since October 2020 - Present I have worked as a teaching assistant in a Private Nursery where I work closely with age groups 2-5 on a daily basis. Here we are trained in promoting independence and encouraging free thinking.
Additionally, during my degree in Psychology, we touched on numerous developmental and social topics, aiding me to better understand childhood development and the ways in which to encourage and further these processes.

Due to my current employment, I am unable to work during school hours (8am -3pm), although I am available for evenings and weekends. Also full availability during half term.
