My Summary
Ofsted Registered Childminder Educator
About Me
Welcome to Rehana’s KiddiCare, where I bring passion, experience, and dedication to creating a nurturing environment for your child.
I have a diverse background in administration, paralegal work, and home-based education, with over nine years as an Ofsted-registered childminder since 2015. These experiences have shaped my core values: treating everyone with kindness, compassion, and fairness. I believe that being open, honest, and understanding is key to achieving the best outcomes for children and their families.
At Rehana’s KiddiCare, I provide a safe, warm, and welcoming home-based setting, where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and explore. I offer a variety of activities, resources, and experiences designed to stimulate curiosity, foster independence, and develop key skills that prepare children for preschool and beyond.
What I Offer:
• A safe and nurturing environment where your child feels at home.
• High-quality care and early years education, aligned with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.
• Opportunities for children to develop socially by learning to share, cooperate, listen, and use manners.
• Activities that enhance creativity, physical development, and independence, including access to a spacious garden and nursery.
• Personalized support to help each child achieve their developmental milestones.
I am a confident, cheerful, and energetic individual with excellent interpersonal skills. I value meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and understanding diverse perspectives, which helps me connect with children and families from all backgrounds. Fluent in Bengali, Urdu, and Hindi, I can communicate effectively with a wide range of families.
My interest in staying informed about world affairs and changes in society also keeps me updated on legal developments and best practices in childcare.
I believe in empowering children to express themselves positively and helping them reach their full potential in a happy and stimulating environment.
At Rehana’s KiddiCare, your child will thrive in a supportive, inclusive, and enriching space where they are cared for as individuals.
My Experience
I am a passionate and experienced advocate for Early Years and Special Educational Needs (SEN), with over two decades of personal and professional experience. As a parent to children with diverse needs, I have developed deep empathy and understanding, which has guided my work supporting young children and their families.
Since 2001, I have collaborated extensively with multidisciplinary professionals, including doctors, sensory specialists, social workers, consultants, occupational therapists, dietitians, SENCOs, and speech and language therapists. This hands-on experience has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to provide effective support to children with additional needs.
I served as a Parent Governor at Sheringham Primary School in Manor Park (E12) for three years, contributing to policy development and ensuring that the needs of all students were met.
I have also completed a range of childcare and SEN-related courses, including:
• DBS Check
• First Aid
• Health and Safety
• Food and Hygiene
• Triple P Parenting Program
• Speech and Language Therapy
• SEN Training
• Singalong Workshops
In addition to these qualifications, I regularly engage in training to stay updated with the latest practices in early years education and SEN support. My goal is to continue making a positive impact in the lives of children, helping them thrive and reach their full potential.

I am a mummy of 3 year old twins and they have been with Rehana since they were 18 months old. I highly recommend Rehana. She is an amazing person, warm, loving, fun and a very experienced childminder. She helped make the settling in process as easy as it could be. The girls love going to Rehana and most days do not want to leave when I pick them up. Her home is warm and welcoming with many things to keep the children entertained, Rehana is very flexible with my needs and requirements and my children just love her. I receive pictures and updates on what they are learning and activities they have done daily.
I totally recommend Rehana as a trustworthy, reliable and caring childminder
