My Summary
About Me
I am a CACHE Level 3 qualified Nanny, who holds an Enhanced DBS on the government update service and a valid 12hr Paediatric First Aid Certificate. I have experience with children aged 10months - 9 years. I am a friendly, reliable, conscientious and caring person. I have always wanted to work with children and I find working with children an extremely rewarding job; it is lovely to see how they grow and develop as an individual.
As a Nanny I am always finding different activities which expands upon a childs imagination, whilst also supporting their learning and development. I effectively plan and organise craft activities, sensory play, local days out, trips to the park, soft play and baby/toddler groups.
I am happy to take on extra duties within my role such as light-general housework.
My Experience
My first Childcare role was in a nursery looking working in the preschool and toddler room. I had over 10 key children and oversaw their development as well as other children in the room through observations, records of development and planning a range of
activities throughout the day, communicating with parents daily
I started my first nanny job in September 2020, this was nanny share role looking after 2 children aged 2. It was a mostly sole charge role, my role was to plan a range of activities for the children, assist with meal times, keeping the children’s areas tidy and changing nappies etc.
My 2nd nanny role was looking after 2 children aged 4 and 2 years old(18 months at start). This was a sole charge role. During the day I took the eldest to and from school, planned activities for the 2 year old such as baking, painting or taking them to different toddler groups. I also prepared the children’s lunch and dinner, and did the children’s laundry.
My next role was a sole charge nanny position looking after 2 boys aged 3 and 1 years(2 1/2 years and 10 months at start). Daily jobs included taking the children to parks, soft play and planning activities in the home. Batch cooking and making the children meals, snacks and bottles. Keeping the areas the
general areas tidy. Doing the children’s laundry and ironing of their clothes.
Sole charge nanny position looking after 2 children aged 6 and 9 (4 and 7 at start). My role included housekeeping duties whilst the children were at school such as; hoovering, dusting, ironing and laundry, collecting the families food shopping and walking the dog. Collecting the children from school or after school clubs and helping them complete homework. Preparing and cooking children’s meals and bathing. During school holidays my role is more childcare focused which includes taking the children on days out or planning activities at home, dropping and picking up from any summer camps.
