About Me
My name is Emma and I registered as a childminder in 2020 after having been a primary school teacher.
I live in North Bushey with my partner, our two children and our two cats. I have a boy who is five and a girl who is eight. We are very fortunate to have a large garden which we make the most of with the children. There are also local playgroups and parks which I would attend with the children. I also have a Willow's Farm and Whipsnade Zoo membership so we enjoy trips there.
I can offer drop-offs and pick-ups to Highwood School and North Bushey Pre-School.

Emma will offer a nurturing approach but will ensure children are supported to enable each child to reaches their full potential. Emma is passionate about starting her new business and hopes to offer a high quality childcare service.
The Living room is homely and inviting. Every child will have access to resources for play. The garden is very large, Emma plans to use the outdoor space as much as possible and there is scope for development, so children can explore in their own pace.
Emma is very welcoming and friendly and I have no doubt she will be an excellent childminder.
My Experience
I was a primary school teacher for 10 years. I have taught Years 2-5 and have worked with many children that have had a variety of special educational needs. This, combined with the fact that I have two young children of my own, has given me a wealth of experience in the care and education of children. I am very used to liaising with parents and updating them on their children's development. Being a working parent myself, I am very aware of the challenges faced so am happy to be flexible and help to make the whole process as easy as possible for you.
I just love to watch children grow and develop and believe that I can provide many opportunities for this to happen in my setting.

Emma is fantastic so understanding and caring, she always has exciting activities on the go and goes to such lovely places. My son has never had any issues with Emma and neither have I and he loves attending. I couldn't ask for anymore
