• Ensuring her safety all times
• Caring for and stimulating her both mentally and physically, to ensure her intellectual, physical and social development.
• Planning and undertaking activities, on a one-to-one basis and with other children of the same age, to develop speech, reading, numbers, letters, colours and social & practical skills.
• Looking after her physical well being: washing and bathing her daily, helping her to dress and undress, changing nappies, cutting her nails if required, ensuring she is dressed appropriately for the weather and that her appearance is generally well maintained.
• Helping to develop and maintain levels of discipline to engender appropriate behaviour. Helping to uphold common courtesy and family values.
• Sterilising and preparing bottles. Providing a varied, interesting, balanced home-cooked diet. Planning menus, preparing and cooking food and cleaning relevant areas of the kitchen after meals.
• Helping develop, plan and maintain her sleeping routine.
• Taking and collecting her to and from groups, safely and on time.
Finding out about activities in the local area ( swimming, trips out, going to the park, museums, picnics etc.) and organising fun activities in the home (singing, playing, drawing, games, arts and crafts, messy fun, cooking etc.)

Responsible for looking after a 5 years old ensuring the safety of her at all times. Regular research on her development by reading books provided by the family or internet search. Discuss developmental plan with the family on a monthly basis in tandem with nursery/school plan. Engaging with the nursery-led developmental themes and Tapestry app. Caring for and stimulating her both mentally and physically, to ensure her intellectual, physical and social development. Monthly planning in advance to co-ordinate activities on a one-to-one basis and with other children of the same age. Activities to develop her speech, reading, numbers, letters, colours, social & practical skills. Schedule to be documented using monthly planner. Looking after her physical well being: washing and bathing her daily, helping her to dress and undress, etc.

April 2012 - April 2017:
Responsible for looking after two young children, one of them being a baby ( 7 months and 2 years). Being totally focused on the children, organising and implementing their daily routines and helping then to grow learn and develop.
Duties: Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of young children.
