Amazing childminding services from Sara

I have been leaving both of my children with Sara for around a year now and she is absolutely outstanding! My little boy has been with Sara since he was 1 and my little girl since she was 4. Initially I was very nervous about leaving my children with a childminder and trusting someone else to take my eldest on the school run. I spoke to a number of childminders however within minutes of being in Sara’s house she put me completely at ease with her professional, confident yet absolutely caring manner. She understood my anxieties and talked us through how we could start with our settling in sessions to help my children adapt at their own pace. There was some real flexibility on Sara’s behalf to ensure my children were as happy as they could be and an extension of the settling sessions to help my youngest (who was particularly clingy) be as comfortable as he could be.

Sara’s house is so comforting and very child oriented that both of my children feel completely at home there. I often just get a wave as they walk in the house and sometimes not even that. It’s such a positive feeling to know that the children are so happy to be there. Sara shares photos on a daily basis to keep us up to date with what is going on and, also keeps a track of which developmental aspects have been met by the children with evidence. During school holidays she ensures there are a wide range of activities which suit the age ranges of the children she has. Days out to aquariums, soft plays, parks, farms, you name it she does it and the children absolutely love it. They even love the stay at home days with films, popcorn, colouring, messy play.

I honestly could not wish for anything more from the person who I trust with my children. I would always recommend Sara’s services for anyone who is looking to have a happy child whilst they are away at work, she is simply amazing!

Great, Professional, Caring and local

We have been using Sara for a number of years now since our first child and found her via this website. We were mostly attracted by the ofsted report at first and after meeting Sara felt very confident and settled leaving him with her. After having our second child we had no hesitation asking Sara to help to ensure we had a consistent and reliable carer.
Sara provides regular updates of our kids during the day and always asks confirmation on thing should it be required. Additionally a diary is kept so that we know of anything occurring in that days routine.
Sara’s keen to keep the kids entertained and i often see them doing activities or hearing about fun days out!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Sara to anyone and have often done so!

Excellent Service

Sarah, is very polite, professional, approachable and caring. I felt at ease leaving my son from day one. Sarah always keeps me updated. Her home is very child orientated and has a real sense of homleness. I feel confident that my son is safe and cared for by a proffessional, who has a wealth of childcare experience and an ability to run her business efficiently.

Sara Crowther Childminder-brilliant and lovely

I have been leaving my ten month old daughter with Sara since I returned to work following maternity leave and she has made this transition much easier than I feared. I have a particularly clingy child and we knew this transition would be a challenge. Sara communicated with us through the whole process so we were very well informed about how the transition would work and what would happen. Once we started leaving her we realised more settling in visits would be required. Sara was amazingly responsive to this extra need and without hesitation sorted out these visits. We slowly increased the length of the visits over the days and through each visit we received photos and updates from Sara about our baby. This meant a lot to me as I felt I could concentrate on my work and not have to worry. If she was unsettled Sara didn't try to push and was very aware of the baby's comfort level and put this first in her decision making. We have now settled in lovely and my daughter is always happy to go. Sara shares photos of what she has been doing through out the day and has a variety of activities. All the activities she does seem to be well thought out from a developmental and social aspect as well as being varied and fun. Letting the child explore and expelling all that energy they seem to have. The communication Sara has with her parents is excellent and she very loving and warm to all the children that come to her. I am very happy and comfortable that we chose Sara to look after our most important person.
