I am a fast learner, I enjoy being challenged and always eager to develop my skills further and work to the up-most of my ability. Working with children is a great passion of mine. I was also a Nanny when studying at university, everyday in the evenings which I thoroughly enjoyed.
My Experience
Looking to help families when needed when I am not working at the Hospital. I work Monday, Tuesday and Fridays 0730-1500pm.
I currently work at Royal Surrey on the Postnatal Ward. I offer support to women after birth, this includes breastfeeding/feeding, helping with routines and being an overall help. Prior to this I was a Maternity Support Worker.Alongside this I also work in the Outreach Team providing support for families that have been discharged from Special Care. This ranges from weights, observations, feeding help and creating a routine.
I am currently studying my Maternity Nursing Level 5 Qualification to provide me with more of an insight to helping families at home with babies.
Previous Experience
- Working with disabled children for 12 years with complex needs. Providing care to the individual, going out, sensory play, swimming and bedtime routines. Alongside any medication needs.
- Associate Practitioner for Special Schools (Nursing Team)
- Disability Challengers ( Playworker, Team Lead)
- At University I was able to provide help as a Nanny, similar to what I offer as a personal assistant. This consisted of picking children up from school, taking to clubs, making dinner & having fun!
