About Me
I have worked in childcare for 16 years and love my job. Now I feel is the right time to change my role and become a childminder this will benefit my whole family. I am a mum of two busy boys aged 6 and 4 we often spend our time over parks, forests and other outdoor locations.We have lived in Hoddesdon for 10 months now and love it. I love having fun and spending time with my family. We have a family dog called Ralph and a tortoise called Billy
I have space for full/part time children Monday to Friday I will also be doing drop

My Experience
I have experienced working in private nurseries, local authority run nurseries and children centres. During my time I have been a room leader and key person working with ages from 3 months to 5 years.
Over the years I have gained strong knowledge of the EYFS and really understand how to provide rich learning environments for children. I have also worked with and supported children with Down syndrome, autism, deaf children and children with speech and language delays. I have run language groups and used makaton to help support children with their early communication. I believe that children learn best through play and by being in stimulating environments. Children need to feel safe and secure in their surroundings to thrive.
I will provide a nurturing and supportive environment. I am passionate about being outdoors and exploring the natural world. I have strong knowledge in how to extend interests and how to provide opportunities to scaffold children’s learning. I have a safe outdoor space and I plan to visit local parks, forests, nature walks. I plan to attend stay and play sessions and singing and rhyme and the local library every week.

I have a NVQ level 3 qualification
I have advanced child protection training, paediatric first aid training

I am available Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:30 flexible if needed

I have been meaning to write this review for weeks.
We, as a family, are so fortunate to have found Jade. There is not one thing about her, her practice, her home, and her lovely family that is not above excellent.
Our boy has excelled in his social skills and his learning since Jade took him on. She is warm, approachable and so accommodating we really don't want to share her but, it's not about us. Your child will be very lucky indeed to be taken on by her.
We can not recommend her highly enough.
