About Me
I live with my partner in Bishopbriggs Glasgow where I have lived for over 30 years. I am handy for primary schools in Bishopbriggs. I currently hold a PVG certificate. I also currently run children and adult Spanish language clubs in the area with a strong emphasis on learning through fun, songs, games and activities. I am particularly interested in before- and after- school care in the local area.
My Experience
Apart from bringing up my own family and my current childcare and language teaching role I have also worked as a nanny for primary school children. I have also tutored teenagers in English, French and Spanish. I previously worked in a library where I enjoyed interacting with children daily, also led lively and fun craft sessions and toddler groups . I find working with children to be very rewarding and I believe they should be treated with respect while nurturing and developing them so that they can achieve their best.
My Qualifications
SCMA induction, which includes health and safety training along with child development . A First Aid essentials certificate, a Supporting early language development certificate and my children's language club training. I have an Honours degree in the Arts, including English literature and I studied French, Spanish and German at university level.
My Availability
Normally I am busy term time with some limited availability. Given Coronavirus restrictions I have more free time and I am offering online sessions via Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp etc. to suit individual families or groups.If you are interested in my help please email me

My Fees
- Nannying from £7.50 per hour (net)
Rates are reasonable and negotiable; also dependent upon how many children are being cared for and on the demands of the role.
