About Me
I work from my home, garden and cabin and I have a forest school approach and spend time outside, where we can appreciate all that nature has to offer. We have a range of outside activities within the setting but we also enjoy all the parks and grounds of the many different attractions in our surrounding areas. We have a home cooked menu and provide all meals, cooked from fresh produce. We grow our own fruit which the kids love picking. I love the early stages in a child's life and all the changes and development they go through. As an older parent I have learned patients is definitely a virtue and I have plenty of it. Fun is also a big factor in our play and activities, without it, its all hopeless. We have a loving, warm, friendly home and welcome all to join in our fun. So that learning is easy and we all want to be involved and engaged in it.
I'm a registered childminder and mum of four. Most of them adults now, So I've gone through most scenarios a parent will go through. Lee my partner of 28 years is very supportive of my role and has help me build my outdoor space. I live in a modest detached home within a small engaging community cul-de-sac.

My Experience
I have school and college qualifications and a teaching diploma in EYFS. I've had a variety of jobs that have given me a multitude of skills as well as my own parenting experience. I also have a forest school approach and love being outside wherever possible. I have a qualification in speech therapy to assist in children’s speech and language development. I love to research and if ever there is something I'm interested in, I like to educate myself as much as possible.
My Qualifications
GCSE - maths, English, Science, Art
A level - Medical Sociology, Maths, English, Physiology.
I also have all relevant qualifications for child minding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, nominated officer training.
Teaching diploma- EYFS
Certificate in speech therapy
Forest school training
I am always aiming to advance my knowledge by completing relevant qualifications. Currently advancing in speech and language and child psychology.
My Availability
Monday to Friday term time 7:30- 6:00
Monday to Thursday holidays 7:30-6:00
I will try to be flexible wherever possible.
Earlier starts must requested .
