About Me
FUNDED SPACES for children 0-4. My name is Nicola and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Hutton, Weston Super Mare. I have an open plan house and garden where I look after a small number of children. We go outside most days and I plan daily activities for the children. I observe and monitor children’s development and host termly parents evenings. Communication about what we are up to, sleep, food etc occurs daily and I am readily available to parents.
This is a caring and nurturing setting that focuses on childhood independence, confidence and resilience with lots of love and kindness.

My Qualifications
Post graduate diploma in Early Years Education
Qualified Early Years teacher
5 years practice experience as an Early Years setting.
Paediatric first aid trained
Fully dbs checked as are all family members
Experienced injury protection legal practitioner and risk assessor
Childcare ChIc qualified including safeguarding and child protection, updated monthly.
Safeguarding lead
PL insured
5 star food hygiene award.

Nicola was exceptional for my young daughter. We unfortunately only had her in our lives for a very short time due to COVID-19, but for all the time she was involved with my daughter's life she was absolutely amazing. We received daily messages updating us on our daughters activities, including a lot of detail and photos. Nicola's house is perfectly set up for young children, and is filled with love and excitement.
