My Experience
I have 18 years experience working with children aged from 3 weeks-16 years of age.
I gained my initial qualification and experience within a nursery before moving on to supervise a Creche inside a private health club in the west-end of Glasgow. Thereafter, I was employed for 14 years as a Nanny.
My current employment consists of a Family Practioner role for a charity , observing and supporting a small group of children inside a Family Centre. I'm still employed as a part time Nanny for 2 days per week. I'm also registered with agencies which allows me to provide ad hoc supply role as an Early Years Practioner.
My Qualifications
SVQ2 & SVQ 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development.
West College Scotland Certificate in Understanding Distressed Behaviour in Children.
West College Scotland Certificate in Adverse Childhood Effects.
*August 2025 - currently accepted for PDA Childhood Practise.
Registered with nanny agencies and SSSC.
Enrolled tax free childcare scheme + have PVG membership.
