I played with him and did activities at home such as play dough, drawing and imaginative play. I also cooked him fresh meals from scratch ensuring they were healthy and nutritious.

Dec 2013-Dec 2017 I ran my own nanny agency providing families with childcare from all sorts of backgrounds. I used my skills as a nanny and a parent to match the nanny to the right family. I did a lot of admin work plus multitasking, I had full use of word and excel and other IT skills, mainly using an outlook program. I rewrote CVs, processed DBS checks, spent a lot of time compiling emails and making phone calls, researching, using social media and booking and arranging meetings and courses that we provided. I have excellent people skills and liaised well with the parents and the nannies. They found my approach sensitive, precise, knowledgeable and friendly. I am a fast learner and good at problem solving and worked well as a team and with the members of our other agencies.
Nov 2016-June 2017 I worked for Forest Homecare, caring for the elderly and those with special needs in their own home. I would take care of all of their personal needs, cook for them and feed them if necessary. I would make sure they had drinks, administer medication and ensure they were comfortable and had all their needs met. I also took care of household tasks such as washing and sometimes cleaning, changing beds, washing up etc. I enjoyed spending time talking to the clients and finding out more about their characters.
