My Summary
About Me
I am extremely self motivated, patience and responsible, with effective organisational, time management skills, alongside exceptional communication and rapport building skills. I am a cheerful , mature person with an extensive experience of working with children within different settings. With a BA HONS degree in "working with children and young people" (level 6), to working in a school for SEN children and one to one work, as well as running my own room within a nursery, I have not only a vast amount of experience but as well the knowledge surrounding childcare and children Law from my University degree.
I simply love children and find myself having very strong maternal qualities. I love caring for children and working with them has allowed me to be a part of their world, gain the satisfaction of being involved in a child's intellectual, social and emotional development and primarily to have fun whilst doing so. Now I want to step out of the education sector and have a direct impact on these children's lives from the comforts of their own homes. I am now seeking nanny work to continue what I love and to broaden my experience even further.
My Experience
Since graduating in 2012 with my degree in childcare (level 6), I have worked along side children. An administrator for Leeds Children's Social Services, a toddler room supervisor for an outstanding Ofsted nursery, one to one/ teaching assistant with children on the autism spectrum and finally a level 3 teaching assistant/ cover supervisor in a soon to be academy primary school. Throughout my university degree, my time was not only spent hidden away in the library and my head stuck in a book; but as well volunteering for many different children charities within the area. The famous Barnardo'' was one of these, where I worked with young carers. I as well volunteered at a nearby stables where I taught disabled children to ride.
