We called her Magic Alex for a reason!

When my husband and I had our first child, as like most first time parents, we were totally overwhelmed, and felt very alone. I found Alex on this website and she amazingly came round that very day to discuss our challenges and what we were struggling with in regards to our baby girl’s sleep and getting her into a routine. Even after that very first consultation the nights got better and Alex became ‘magic Alex’ from then on.

Alex came and stayed with us a couple of nights a week for the first five weeks, which gave us both peace of mind and some well needed rest.

Although the extra sleep was great what we really loved about Alex was she was only a WhatsApp away. This meant that all those crazy moments at the beginning where you simply don’t know what the right answer is were completely soothed by talking it through with Alex. I don’t think there was a WhatsApp message that was unanswered within the hour which meant I knew I’d have reassurance or an answer to my problem ASAP. She takes into account your child’s specific needs and quirks and helps to build a plan that works for both you as parents and the baby.

This meant that our baby girl Was sleeping soundly between feeds giving us a bit of flexibility and the ability to get some sleep. It also meant that we were down to one night feed at about seven weeks. She is now three months and happily sleeping through the night for 12 hours straight. We absolutely couldn't have gotten to this point without Alex's support at the beginning. She is totally professional and knows her stuff all whilst being super genuine, kind and reassuring. She makes those early days a little more relaxing and gets you to a place where you can actually enjoy newborn parenthood!

The moment our baby girl starts any form of sleep regression the first thing I’ll be doing is calling Alex! Could not recommend highly enough!

Highly recommended

Alex has been with us for 2 weeks. She settled our baby into a routine and has given me tips that will continue to be helpful. Alex is professional and personable. I felt that she was careful to understand our baby and our lifestyle and then tailor her care to fit with us.

I would have loved Alex to have stayed longer if she had availability - this is the best compliment I can give!

Absolutely brilliant.

Alex has been an absolute professional in every single aspect of her childcare for our son. From the very moment we met Alex we felt completely reassured.

Alex is genuine, professional, exceptionally capable, very knowledgeable and hugely reliable.

Alex came to us in February to help with sleep training for our then aged 5 month old son, she was only meant to be here for a few weeks but we loved her so much that she helped us until mid July! Alex has been flexible, discreet, adaptable and never once late. We have taken Alex on holiday with us; she has had sole care of our son; has shared care of our son with us and has always gone the extra mile to be helpful.

Alex is very thoughtful and often sends me pictures of my son and updates during the day when I am at work so we know he is ok.

We are totally devastated to be losing her, although it was always in the pipeline for her to be leaving for America.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a genuine, professional wonderful maternity nurse / nanny.
