About Me
Hello, we are a team of 3 childminders and we work from a cabin, this is fully insulated and a big space where we can do lots of activities and a big garden space for out door play in all weathers. we are all ofsted registered and offer daytime and after school care., We pick up from Wolsey house primary school I live with my partner and daughter aged 24, all that live in the house are dbs checked. We are all very passionate about the work we do and the care we provide for all the children within our setting. We create a very fun and happy environment for all the children that attend!
We follow the EYFS and do lots of fun learning based activities such as messy play, sensory play, arts and crafts, role play and lots more! We also do a lot of outdoor playing and exploring on walks and trips to local parks.
We don’t provide meals but do provide a variety of healthy snacks, water and juice.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 23 years, and have worked with children since leaving school in various settings. Helen has been a registered childminder for 14 years and Amy 3 years
I have my city and guilds level 2 in childcare and Amy has completed a HBCA level 3 course. We all hold current first aid certificates which are refreshed every 3 years, and have been on various training courses. We all have experience of working with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
In the school holidays we like to take the children on outings to local parks, farms, ball pits etc. I have a 7 seater car so plenty of room for our days out.
All of our cars are fully insured for business use and we have the relevant public liability insurance.
Had my last Ofsted inspection in march 2018 which I was graded 'good'
