About Me
Hi I’m Lisa and I am an Ofsted registered home-based childminder.
I live in Noble Park, Epsom with my husband, daughter (born October 2014), son (born October 2020) and our dogs Dave and Frank.
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years. I have experience with children from 0 years - 14 years. I have gained my experience from working in nurseries, a school, playscheme, babysitting and being a nanny.
I believe in providing a ‘home from home’ environment. We live in a two bedroom house with a safe and secure back garden. We are within walking distance of 2 playgrounds/parks and Horton Country park.
I love seeing children in my care grow and develop. I will help to do this by providing stimulating and engaging activities. These will include arts and crafts, cooking, messy play, reading books, sand and water play and spending time in the great outdoors! I also believe that children should explore their local surrounds, for example visiting the local library, children centers, toddler groups, etc.
I have a friendly network of other nannies and childminders that look after children of a variety of ages. I regularly meet with them to help the children gain social and communication skills with other children of a similar age.
I am Ofsted registered, first aid trained and hold a valid DBS. I am a fun, calm, responsible and caring person, I am honest and reliable.
I will provide healthy and balanced meals/snacks.

I am a mum of 3 and my youngest has been with Lisa since he was 13 months. I had initially put him into nursery, as I had done with my older 2, but had to take him out quickly as due to him being an allergy kid and having a few health issues (thankfully mild) I realised the nursery couldn’t cater for him. Thank goodness we found Lisa. Lisa has just been amazing and our son has thrived in her care. He is so happy and content and Lisa has cared for him in a way I didn’t think was possible outside of our home. Our son gets personalised care and we are so grateful that he is in such a caring, happy & safe environment.

My oldest has been with Lisa since she was 1 years old, she is now 5 and my youngest who is 2,5 years and also been going to Lisa since she was 1. I know when we drop our girls off in the morning that they are so well looked after, happy and comfortable. It’s their home away from home and they just love Lisa.
Everyday there is something different set up for the children when they walk in. Lisa has always thought about indoor and outdoor activities for the day/week. If they not building something, they dressing babies, drawing, painting, dancing, reading, creating something, playing with the little kitchen and just having fun. She is so good at adapting activities for different ages. At certain times of the year Lisa focuses on events and really makes the days special for the kids, example is Christmas time where they will make decorations, bake, sing Xmas songs, read Xmas books and so much more. She will also take them to special childrens events.
Lisa always makes an effort to take them to toddler groups and other activities every week (like soft play) which they just love
Lisa takes and fetches my eldest from school on days required, she always feeds back to me on how her day was and any information the teachers relay to her.
After a busy day at work I know they have always had a good healthy day of eating.
I wouldn’t change a thing and I know Lisa is very sought after so we lucky to have her.

From the first time that we met Lisa we could see that she is highly organised, efficient and provides a great environment for children.
For the two years that our son was with Lisa, we saw him flourish as a happy, content and confident child.
Lisa provides the perfect balance of discipline and affection teaching the children manners, life skills and safety as well as giving them the emotional support that they require.
As working parents, we always had full confidence that our son was being cared for in the best way possible.
We would highly recommend Lisa as a childminder.
