About Me
Are you looking for a caring, experienced, and passionate childminder? I have 20 years of experience working in caring/supportive roles. I also have a diploma in community and youth studies.
I have a genuine love of teaching children about animals, the environment, and nature, I am here to provide a nurturing and educational environment for your little ones.
I have worked as an Ofsted registered childminder for 8 years. I understand the importance of providing individualized care and support to each child in my care.
My past experiences of working in schools and caring roles have equipped me with the necessary skills to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
I believe in fostering a love for learning through hands-on experiences and exploration. From nature walks to animal-themed activities, I am dedicated to sparking children's curiosity and encouraging their creativity.
I strive to create a stimulating environment where children can develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills while having fun.
I pride myself on offering:

We also have a small, well-behaved dog. Her name is Maisy. She is part of the family and extremely friendly. I find that children, especially those who don't have pets at home, enjoy the company of Maisy.

I offer the funded 15 and 30 hours of free care. I currently have spaces available.
My Experience
I have worked in community and youth work and have a diploma endorsed by the youth agency studies at The Trinity University, formerly Leeds Metropolitan. I have many years of experience in health and social care and special needs.
My Qualifications
registered childminder Health and Social Care GNVQ. Community and Youth Studies Diploma.
My Availability
8:00-17:00 I can be flexible. I offer the 15 and 30 hours of free child care.
I'm happy to childmind around school hours or longer days. I have a full-time space minimum of 3+ days for September 2024 due to a little one starting school and an expected last-minute change.
I am now providing drop offs pick ups from Queenway primary. Including snacks and a hot meal.

Shes an absolute rockstar! My kids loved her an so did I!
I found jodie when my maturnity was ending an my baby took to Jodie right away an has just got fonder an fonder as the year went on, she loved turning up was always excited
My eldest daughter was the same always looked forward to going an hated leaving,
Always worked around my needs , very caring an loving an is amazing an friendly, she is a very warm person. All of us are sad to have left, we will miss her an joe loads

Jodie is wonderful with our son (4 yrs). She takes care of him full time and he loves going to her. We moved him to Jodie from a nursery a few months ago, and Jodie made the transition so easy for him. He settled in within a day, and we've seen him become much more happy and talkative since. Jodie takes the children out on trips to the city on the train which our son really enjoys, and they also frequently visit parks and play areas around Guiseley. She is very kind to the children. We would recommend her to anyone looking for childcare around Guiseley.

I felt confident leaving my son with her from day one.
Jodie has a warm and friendly approach and is a natural with children.
She gets out and about with the children, and ensures they have a safe environment.
She is so great because she is so caring with the children she looks after.
Me and my husband would recommend her to anyone!

Jodie is a very lovely woman, she is currently looking after my daughter who is 9 months old and she seems to love her days with Jodie as she gets upset when leaving/grumpy lol she has been very flexible with what I required and is very understanding if I am late from picking her up from work, I would definitely recommend and looking forward to her help with development and education as Christina grows.

Jodie cared for my 7 month old son when I had to go back to work. The care Jodie offered made a really difficult transition so much more bearable for me as I knew from the offset he was in good hands. She then cared for my little girl who came along 16 months later. Jodie is really nurturing and likes to get out and about. My kids loved going to Jodie's and for trips on the train. Jodie is caring, calm and level headed, exactly what you would want from a childminder.

Jodie took care of my nearly 2 year old son jack for a weeks work induction i Needed to attend. I was afraid jack wouldnt settle as he has never been away from home but from day 1 he settled in immediately and she did amazing with him. He got to go out to the parks , feed the ducks and so on hes absolutly loved it i would 100% recommend jodie is very friendly very reliable and jack has loved every minuite thankyou xx
