About Me

Not looking for any work - currently a full time teacher in a school.

My name is Amy, I am 29 years of age and have over 14 years experience in childcare. I am a mature, hardworking, reliable, honest person. I love to be outdoors and indoors when working with children, I love to spend days out in summer holidays on my own with the kiddies as bonding time aswell as socialising with lots of other children from playgroup to meeting at parks/zoos etc.

I left school in 2011 and have been working within the childcare sector ever since. I began in a private nursery working with children aged 3 months to 5 years as well as babysitting children up to the age of 13 years.

I have lots of experience from nurseries, nannying, babysitting, housekeeping, newborn/baby led weaning.

I am a fun caring enthusiastic person who loves to be doing things with children, groups, classes and fun places indoors or out.

I have lots of qualifications in childcare including a ba honours degree and a postgraduate level in childhood and youth.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my friends and family as I am a very family orientated person.

I worked as a nanny for a few different families part time. Some being temp and some being 1 day a week to work with my main job 3 days a week whom was a french speaking (and english) with children aged when I started 1 and 4. they are were then 1, 3.5 and 6.5 when I left. I have been working with them since January 2016 but known them since November 2014. I had a bit of experience with baby no.3 as newborn and baby led weaning. This job gave me lots of experience of juggling around with multiple children of a young age. unfortuntely due to the family lifestyle changing i was made redundant and left in September 2018 and then looked after 2 lovely kiddies in berkhamsted nannying. However I then got promoted to take on a position of managing a breakfast and afterschool club in Harpenden.
I then went on to become a qualfiied teacher and now full time in a school - demanding but rewarding job!
