About Me

I have graduated from ARU with a degree in Education where I will train as a Special Needs teacher in the future. I am passionate about children's welfare, development, learning through play and most of all having fun!

I have recently had a daughter, Harriet, who is 5 months old. Whilst pregnant I was working with a family with three children of preteen age that required after school collection, support/tuition with home work and 11plus, nurturing independence skills, cooking an evening meal & general household duties.

Since having my daughter I have relocated to Tilbury and from February I am looking for a new position with a local family. I am ideally looking for a role that allows me to look after other children and look after my daughter at the same time, so a similar age of child/children would be great! This arrangement would suit a child not yet at nursery as interacting daily with another baby would encourage and develop important social skills.
If this set up is not an option, my husband and I have the choice of swapping roles as he is only working part time.

My biggest flaw, is that I am human and I get attached to families. I am still in contact with every family I have nannied for and see the children regularly.
