I’m newly out of university having just completing my masters course in psychology. I currently live in the south london area looking to support families in the evening and at weekends.
My Experience
I’ve had experience of looking after twins around the age of 6 during the summer holidays, providing them with fun actives in the week.
I volunteered at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust alongside my masters degree as a CAMHS mentor, building a relationship with a young person to establish and work towards a series of personalised goals. Being a mentor has enhanced my ability to communicate efficiently with a broad range of professionals such as CAMHS clinicians as well as liaising with family members in a constructive, empathetic way.
