About Me
I am married and a mother of 3 grown up daughters. I have been childminding for 26 years. I am fun loving, easy going and very patient and love my work finding it very rewarding..I care for children from birth to 12 in my own spacious home with a designated playroom and large garden with a variety of play equipment.I offer the 2, 3 and 4 year funding hours and vouchor schemes. We have a small dog and a turtle and chickens in a designated coop in the garden.
My Experience
Having childminded for 26 years I have a wealth of experience with children of all ages especially the pre-school age group. I provide a warm, secure and welcoming setting for the children in my care and can offer them a homely environment in which to develop and grow in happy surroundings. We love to get out and about and I provide a variety of outings and experiences for the children.
I have a little experience with special needs, and have disabilitiy awareness and support children from different cultures.
My Qualifications
I am qualified to NVQ level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development . I hold a current First Aid training certificate and Food Safety certificate and have undergone various training sessions, I keep upto date with training courses available.
I hold an NVQ Level 2 in Understanding Autism.
My Availability
My regular hours for childminding are Monday to Thursday from 8am until 6pm but I am flexible with my hours. if requested I am also registered for overnight care in my home and have a designated bedroom for this purpose.. I follow EYFS 7 areas of learning curriculum for the children s development. We have a variety of activities and outings and regularly get together with other Childminders. My last OFSTED inspection was graded good.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge a full daily rate of £45 per day from 8-5.30/45 and £5/hour before and after these hours. Before and after school is £18/day plus a meal charge if tea is required. My evening babysitting rates are £10.00 hr in either my home or the child's home. Please enquire for overnight fees as they vary with age of the child/ren.
