About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder rated Outstanding by Ofsted in all areas. I live in Frimley, close to local schools and parks. My setting offers Early Years Government funded childcare for 15 or 30 hours for 3 and 4 year olds and FEET funding for 2 year olds. I have over 11 years experience in childcare (3 years as a preschool manager, 2 years running after school clubs and 7 years as a childminder).
I am married with 3 children of my own, 2 daughters aged 16 and 15 and a son aged 6.
I look after children of different ages, from 6 months old to after school children. With all the children I pride myself on helping them to learn through play with a variety of adult led and child initiated activities covering all of the EYFS, along with group activities to further enhance their experiences and learn from their older peers.
All children develop in line with a detailed Early Years Development tracker (Tapestry), allowing parents to see their child's progress securely online with regular updates.
Children also participate in arts and crafts as well as cooking and there is plenty of space for running off excess energy!
The setting has an abundance of toys and resources for all ages. It also has a large secure garden with a variety of play equipment including a wooden climbing frame, stepping stones, low balance beam, handcrafted mud/outdoor play kitchen and other equipment designed to enhance and aid your child's development.
Both my husband and I have Enhanced DBS checks and I provide care in a non smoking environment.
I have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare as well as having completed a CHIP course.
I provide all food, toiletries and nappies where necessary and cater for children with allergies.
