About Me
Hello, thank you for looking at my profile and welcome to Watch me grow childcare. My name is Dominica Hodges, I have been an ofsted registered childminder since February 2011.
I am married and have a eighteen year old daughter (at university), a thirteen year old daughter and an tweleve year old son. I have completed a honours degree in Education and and Special Educational Needs and I am passionate about all children receiving the best childcare experience alongside achieving their own personal early years outcomes.
We enjoy being out and about on bear hunts and trying to find the Gruffalo, trip to feed to ducks and geese, and lots trips to the different parks just a few minutes from our setting.
With large garden, filled with an extensive range of age appropriate toys and learning tools. Such equipment enables me to ensure I effectively meet the standards outlined through Ofsted and the EYFS. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can enjoy learning, a love of learning is essential for success throughout their lives and education.
I thoroughly enjoy caring for children and believe all children can grow and flourish within a positive and safe environment.

My Experience
I have worked in many schools, including a special educational needs school. I have experience of caring for a children with various additional needs and have successfully completed my degree in Education and Special Educational Needs.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
We are able to discuss fees and funded places on initial visit. Childcare vouchers accepted from numerous providers.
2 year (15 hours) and 3 - 4 year funding offered. Both 15 and 30 hours dependant on parent/carer requirements
Tax free childcare offered.

Dominica has been fantastic with us as parents and my children. Always willing to help and assist in anyway she can. Both my children love going and cannot wait to go again. What more can i say if my children are happy. Would highly recommend without hesitation

Dominica provided childcare for my 3 year old boy before her maternity leave. He absolutely loved his time there, especially playing with Dominica's lovely daughter! Dominica was always very thorough and keen to support Charlie in any way possible. Fantastic childminder!
