Hi my name is Mandy, I have been a Registered Childminder for over 9 years with my first Ofsted Inspection in October 2017 graded **Outstanding** my second Ofsted Inspection in May 2021 graded ** Outstanding **
I am 52 years young, and live with my husband, daughter aged 17 and our family Beagle dog.
We live in a lovely road, situated in between Sidcup and New Eltham Railway Station which is close to all major bus routes. I provide a wide range of learning and fun activities inside and outdoors for children of all ages. I also take children to libraries, play groups, singing and rhyme time and days out through the holidays.
My Experience
I provide a professional, caring, warm home environment for all children to flourish to their full learning potential. I have been childminding for over 9 years and absolutely love my job, working with Babies, toddlers and young children.

I only provide drop off's and pickups from Dulverton Nursery/Primary School.
My working hours are from 7.30am till 5.30pm, my working days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only from 7.30am till 5.30pm. This will also apply in School Holidays

Our daughter has been with Mandy for over a year, and we couldn’t be happier. The environment is caring and safe, and daily communication through WhatsApp has been fantastic. Our daughter loves spending time with Mandy and the other children, and we’ve seen great progress in her development through the various activities and interactions. Living in Sidcup makes the location ideal for us. Highly recommend!

My son and daughter have been going to Mandy for 2 years, and they absolutely love it. Mandy is fantastic with all the children and always keeps us up to date with what they are up to. I have complete peace of mind knowing that Mandy is collecting them from school and are happy. Mandys setting is fantastic, and they love the parties and experiences she provides them with. I would recommend Mandy to anyone looking for childcare.

Mandy has looked after my little boy since he was 10 months old. Moving into a new area, going back to work and leaving him was so difficult, but as soon as we met Mandy in her beautiful home she made things feel so much less daunting and we knew he was going to be genuinely cared for by this lovely lady. My little boy is now 3 and has absolutely thrived in Mandy’s care, he’s had so many milestones with her and she has created a beautiful record of everything in a book of pictures. Not only does she have a fantastic home environment that’s kitted out as well as a nursery, she takes her children out to experience different environments - the circus, fabulous parks, summer and Christmas parties and so many brilliant playgroups where they can mix with other children. We’ve decided to keep our son with Mandy rather than pre-school because she provides such a well rounded day and the flexibility of hours she can offer. I would completely recommend Mandy and Flamingo Childcare to any parent, we will all miss her massively and when it comes to school time!

I feel very lucky to have found Mandy. My son and daughter have been with Mandy for over a year and have really flourished in her care. It’s so lovely to know they’re safe and having fun when they’re with her and they’re always so excited so go, in fact most days they don’t give me a second look as I drop them off. She’s great at communicating with the parents and the children and she is really accommodating to everyone’s needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mandy and neither would the kids!

Mandy has been looking after my baby Lottie for over a year now from age 1-2, I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else for lottie she is truly fantastic, she always takes them to fun places, let’s them explore, educates & nurtures them. Iv often seen Mandy with a buggy full and the little ones holding on the buggy or hands of Mandy behaving so nicely for her (how I don’t know) I feel so lucky to have lottie in such great care, it’s so lovely to see, we always get updates with pictures & reassurance if there was any morning tears or worries, lottie always comes home with smiles, pictures arts and crafts! Her talking has come on leaps and bounds, she wakes up daily asking for Mandys i would 100% recommend Mandy to look after your precious little ones, I couldn’t recommend her enough she is fantastic, professional, clean, tidy and totally in control with her little extended family of children

My daughter has been with Mandy since she was 10 months old she is now 26 months, I was so upset and nervous to leave her and go back to work but Mandy made the transition so smooth and it really helped me and my daughter settle in. My daughter is thriving and achieving everything she should be and honestly believe this is down to Mandy. She is so amazing with the children and helping them to achieve their very best, I couldn't wish for any better. My daughter loves going to her and misses her so much when she goes away. Its like a second home for them where they can go and play with their friends and learn but with no pressure. Mandy is not only amazing with the kids but also with the working with parents to make sure the children are achieving their best and keeping in touch. If I could rate 100 out of 10 I would, choosing Mandy to look after my pride and joy is one of the best decisions I have made.

Mandy was an absolute angel when we needed her the most.. Patient, resourceful, respectful of parents' wishes, her passion for what she does is extremely obvious. Our son flourished in her environment and developed such important language and life skills in such a short space of time! We're really hopeful to return once personal circumstances allow it. We can't thank you enough Mandy, you are helping shape children's future!

Mandy was the perfect childminder for our Son. She was amazing with him, which was very important to us and she gave us peace of mind knowing that he was getting the same level of love, care and even just as important, learning that he would be getting at home. If I had to rate Mandy out of 10 I would honestly give her an 11. She really was that good for our son who is at Nursery now and really flourishing. Thank you Mandy x

The absolute best childminder I have used. She is friendly, helpful and will always go the extra mile to accommodate any requests. I needed help at short notice and she stepped in to help straight away. All the children love her and she is totally committed to making sure the children have the best time and enjoy themselves whilst in her care. My daughter asks to go to her all the time and always enjoys herself. I trust Mandy completely and have never met anyone so at ease with children. I highly recommend her and she will never let you down.

Mandy started caring for my son when he started at a school nursery, having been in a private nursery for two years before this. From the very beginning Mandy has been absolutely amazing with him, giving him the confidence to try new things and setting him perfectly for starting at 'school'. He absolutely adores Mandy and all the other children in the setting (as well as Baxter the dog!). Bertie really feels like part of the family, and he bounces out the door every morning asking 'is it a Mandy day!'. I could not have asked for a more secure, and welcoming setting, especially over the last year. Thank you Mandy <3
