Most wonderful childminder

My son has been going to Mandy for over a year. I was slightly concerned sending my child to a stranger but when I met Mandy I felt so at ease with her she is so experienced and wonderful with the children she looks after. My son has developed so much since being with Mandy his speech is absolutely incredible for his age and his social skills are wonderful and Mandy has a lot to do with that.Every morning my son cannot wait to get to Mandy’s house. I can’t recommend Mandy enough she is the most wonderful childminder I could ask for.

Happy mum, Happy Child

Mandy was recommended to me by a friend, as my partner and I had spent months, looking for a nursery for our first child, in anticipation for when I returned to work. We had visited the majority of the nursery’s around New Eltham and Sidcup and although we visited some very nice ones, all with Good or outstanding ofstead ratings, I just couldn’t bear the thought of leaving my one year old at any of them. I felt that with such a high number of other children and staff at the nursery’s they could not possibly care for my child in the way that I would have wanted. Therefore we visited Mandy with my son. From the outset Mandy made us feel very comfortable, we met some of the other children in her care and Mandy showed me pictures and booklets of their time with her. It was clear to see that the children already in her care really adored and looked up to her. That gave us the confidence and trust that we needed to find in someone, in order to leave our son in their care.
Mandy was so accommodating when it came to settling my son in, she always made him feel happy and welcome, so that after a few sessions he felt more than comfortable going round there, and enjoyed seeing and playing with the other children. It was such a relief for me to know that while I was at work he was being well cared for.
I am currently on Maternity leave with my second child, and I hope that numbers permitting, he will also be able to go to Mandy when the time comes for me to return to work.

Truly Outstanding!

My Son has been with Mandy since he was 10 months old and I couldn't be happier that I found her. I met a ton of childminders that just weren't right for my Son before I finally found Mandy. It was a really tough decision to go back to work and the thought of leaving my Son with anyone at such a young age was truly heart-breaking. He is a very tactile hands-on type of child who likes a lot of attention and interaction, which was why I decided I wanted him to be in a small setting that was more personal rather than a nursery where he would be one of many. He instantly settled into Mandy's care and created really strong friendships with all the other children, they really are like his second family... some days he doesn't want to come home when I go to pick him up as he is having so much fun! Mandy does lots of different activities with the children and is very focuses on early years development, which was one of my main concerns about not sending him to Nursery. Mandy is very reliable and consistent, always giving lots of advance notice about holidays and time-off so I can plan alternative childcare accordingly, she even helped with finding a back-up childminder to cover her holidays. I couldn't recommend Mandy highly enough. I don't know what I would do without her!

Amazing Childminder!

Mandy has been looking after my two children who are now 7 and 3 since I went back to work in September 2015. The children absolutely adore her which makes leaving them to go to work much easier. Since my daughter has been with Mandy she has made great progress with her development. I would highly recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a reliable, honest and caring childminder.

A lifeline while working

Mandy has cared for my two daughters for the past 3 years. She made the difficult experience of returning to work a breeze . The children simply adored her and felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed their time in her home.
Mandy is very talented with young children and manages to combine nurturing with educating not an easy task !
I would not hesitate to recommend Mandy .

Outstanding!

Mandy has looked after my daughter for 3.5 years and when I asked my daughter what we should say in this review her only word was "fantastic". Mandy is enthusiastic, loving and kind and has created a warm safe environment for children to have develop, have fun and learn. I honestly could not recommend her higher.

Happy mum!

My 2 year old son has been going to Mandy since March 2017. He is very happy and enjoys all the activities he does with Mandy and the other children. It's very reassuring as a parent to have him with someone you trust with his safety but also that he is an environment where he is learning and having a thoroughly good time.
