Personal Assistant/Support Worker
Required for my youngest son (13 years) who has Profound Learning Disabilities in Bishopston area, to access the community, build relationships and offer new opportunities.
Up to 12 hours per week (term time) and 16 hours (school holidays), flexible days and times to be discussed, but ideally includes at least one pick up from school.
Will be lone working and providing companionship to access the community and encourage engagement in social activities and the general outdoors. Some duties will be inside the home.
Please note carrying out personal care is required with the role and access to own car is essential. Child centred approach essential as is a passion for disability rights and a good sense of humour. He is lovely to spend time with; he is sociable and charming, enjoys being outside, exploring and running around.
