About Me
I am an ofsted registered childminder with over 20 years childcare experience. I have a natural affinity with children and empathise with their needs. I offer a safe, homely, friendly environment where children will be nurtured and cared for. I will provide fun activities and outings suitable for the ages of the children in my care , that also meet the requirements of the early years foundation stage.
My Experience
I have always worked with children, working in nurseries, schools and nannying for children in their own homes. I have aways wanted to childmind children, as I feel I have a lot to offer them and can help them develop with more individual attention.
For 9 years I worked in a nursery caring for children aged between 6 months-4years. I was a room leader and for the last 2 years a deputy manager.
At present I care for children aged between 2-6yrs.
In April 2015 I was grated outstanding by Ofsted.
2020 was graded good by Ofsted
I have a happy 3 year old daughter.

NNEB Diploma in nursery nursing

First Aid
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in home-based childcare

Level 3 Award in First line management - 6 credits

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I would prefer to meet you to show you what I have to offer and to discuss yours and you child/rens needs.
My costs include snacks, drinks and small outings , I.e. Groups , soft play centres , farm , aquarium.
I am now signed up to accept childcare vouchers and the tax-free childcare scheme .
I can offer free funding for 2,3 and 4 year olds

Our daughter has been childminded by Emily since she was 10 months. After we had to remove her from a nursery as we were not happy with the service they provided.
Emily was everything we wanted from a childminder and we knew our daughter would have a happier time in Emily's care. We were very impressed by Emily's extensive childcare qualifications and experience. We realised after looking into a number of childminders that Emily is not only qualified as a childminder but she also has many years of qualifications and experience working within a nursery and and as a babysitter (which not all childminders have).
We also love that Emily regularly takes the children out on trips to the park, music sessions, library sessions, to the beach, children centres for a play, and jiggy wrigglers. She also has a fantastic playroom and a huge range of stimulating and educating toys, crafts and music instruments for children to enjoy. Emily is a lovely friendly person and my daughter loves going to Emily's for the day. My daughter smiles and gets excited as soon as she sees Emily. Knowing my daughter is happy makes it much easier to go to work and know she is in good hands.
I fully recommend Emily to any parents looking for an excellent childminder.
