My Summary
About Me
I am a Montessori-trained, Ofsted-registered nanny and a Level 5 maternity nurse. I have also completed courses in Positive Discipline and Holistic Sleep Coaching. I live in Walton-on-Thames with my wife and two dogs.
I grew up in Kingston with two siblings plus more than 60 foster siblings (over the years) with various needs. I went to Tiffin Girls’ School and then worked in midwifery at two hospitals, as well as on a respiratory ward, before becoming a nanny in 2016. I currently look after two young children full time. I have worked with children of all ages and truly enjoy every stage!
I’m very hands on and love getting stuck in; whether it’s an art project, organising a birthday party or teaching a child to read. I’m kind, gentle and patient with children and I really believe in trusting, respecting and empowering them from a young age. I support gentle methods when it comes to infant sleep and the discipline of older children. I am trained in Positive Discipline which is a style of childcare that I find works well, however I will of course adapt to suit a family’s needs and parents’ requests. I have a driving license and my own car (with car seats).
