Hi, I’m Ola!
I am a private tutor with seven years experience. I believe that all children, no matter their age or ability, can achieve beyond expectations and this is why I am passionate about teaching. All children are unique with their own learning styles and I provide students with a personalised learning experience, as well as the additional support they need to reach their academic goals. My approach to teaching is to establish strong foundations and instil fundamental study skills that will serve them well academically and later in life. This will ensure that they become confident in their abilities and independent in their learning.
My Experience
I have seven years of experience as a tutor, specialising in helping children excel in exams, from the 7+ entrance exams all the way up to GCSE Maths. Also, I have had great success with my students helping them pass the 11+ exams and gain admission to independent and grammar schools such as Dulwich College, Kings College, Alleyns and Latymer.
I have been teaching lots of students online and they have thoroughly enjoyed these virtual lessons. These sessions have been very successful and my students have adapted to online lessons really well. In addition, they have remained focussed and diligent in these sessions as the online material I provide are effective and engaging.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Maths and a masters in Statistics, so I am very knowledgeable in mathematics.
