Friendly welcoming and very warm childminder

My son amd daughter both went to this childminder, they loved it so much lots of activities fun and they both learnt so much. This company made it fun for them they also took them on some lovely days out. I would highly recommend to anybody seeking childcare , from newborn all the way to older children they really do cater for everyone . I felt ay ease knowing my kids were happy and in a safe fun environment .

Inspiring, safe, secure environment

My son and daughter have been with Sarah, Zoe and Matt full time for 5 years now. My son started when we moved to the area at age 7 and our daughter joined at 3 months old - she is now 4yrs old.

We had experience of childminders before, all of which were brilliant, but Chicks Childcare is in a completely different league. Their love and care for our children above all things is fantastic, but the education, skills, politeness, respect and other life skills that our son and daughter have developed since being under their care is quite simply, exceptional.

Each day, I know that my children will be looked after via a structured play/learn plan for the day and I can be confident that they will be having fun whilst learning all day long. I know that my children will be receive the right level of discipline when required and oodles of love and respect at all times.

During the holidays, they both come home exhausted as they've been carrying out safe but exciting science experiments, or constructing structures out of spaghetti and marshmallows or just simply having hours of fun doing all sorts of things! They mix with all ages of children, which can only be of benefit to them.

As my husband and I work part time, with quite high-pressured jobs, it really REALLY helps to have a flexible childminder that can drop off to grandparents occasionally if we're stuck at work, or who doesn't mind the odd early drop off - it just removes all the stress from being a working parent and I can't thank them enough for that!

Last year, they received an OFSTED Outstanding rating - that speaks for itself. They have transformed their home, both inside and out, into a wonderland of adventure and learning. Communication and feedback on how our children have behaved, felt, learnt etc is clear and we receive a regular booklet containing our children's hard work and how they compare against key stage targets etc - just as you would expect to receive from a full time nursery.

Sarah, Matt and Zoe are quite simply brilliant. I would recommend them to every single parent looking for more than just a childminder - these people are highly experienced, constantly improving their techniques through regular training and above all - fantastic people.

My son has been attending since he was 9 months ol

My son has been attending for 6 years now. Sarah has been able to accommodate every request I have asked of her. The play facilities are second to none, never a dull moment, always something for the children to enjoy, whether that be the latest science experiment or making the latest jewellery, not to mention the outdoor play area and indoor/outdoor area which is all beautifully decorated and captures the children's imagination. it is a family run business where the children's development and early education is valued and nurtured. Health and diet is also catered for involving the children where and when possible, such as helping with the plates. I highly recommend this child minder and will continue to use as long as I need.
