We are a young professional couple with a busy family life, hence we aim to remain focused and organised to provide our son the best quality of life he could possibly achieve, given his complex needs.
My Requirements
My son is 13 years old with complex needs and severe disabilities. He is dependent on all daily living activities and requires a high level of assistance to undertake these.We are looking for a caring, professional and reliable live out Special Needs Carer/Special Needs Nanny/Support Worker to join a team of carers.
Main Duties:
• To assist with all aspects of my son's daily activities including his personal care such as bathing, washing, dressing, toileting, feeding and medication
• To assist with the preparation of his meals and other light household duties
• To liaise with us as his parents regarding his ongoing care
• To undertaking home physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy programmes and to follow any advice and recommendations made by therapists i.e. on positioning, feeding, exercises etc.
