My Summary

My Experience

I have a lot of experience with children, I have worked at nursery schools and an out of school club. I was a nanny for 2 years for a wonderful family who I still see regularly. I looked after two boys aged 4 and 6. My role included housework, cooking meals for the family, taking the boys to and from school, creating fun and interesting activities and planning special days out during the holidays. I loved being a nanny and working with this family. I have also tutored mathematics, been a peer mentor and worked at a residential summer school for international students. Bedes summer school is a 6 week residential school, I worked as an activities leader, meaning I taught sport, art and drama to international students whose aim for the summer was to learn english. On top of this job, I lived with the students and acted as a "House Parent", this job included ensuring the children went to sleep on time and were woken up on time, dressed appropriately for the day and eating properly throughout the day as well as ensuring all the children were having fun and never bored. I also had to plan and organise evening activities for the students and had the responsibility of taking the students on school trips to London.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc from the University of York in Psychology and currently studying a Masters degree in child psychotherapy. I have a DBS check and I am first aid trained.

My Availability

I am available for nannying Monday-Thursday and also available for babysitting weekends and evenings.

My Fees

• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £6.00 per hour

Paid per hour and reimbursed for petrol when using own car.
