About Me
Hello my name is Bal. I am a qualified and insured Ofsted registered childminder and I have over 20 years of childcare experience working in nurseries, private nurseries and as a special needs teaching assistant for 7 years.I am friendly, flexible and reliable. I am based in Stretford. I hold the following certificates in paediatric first aid, child protection, NVQ level 3 in childcare, Safeguarding and food and hygiene.
I am married and a proud mum of four children. 2 boys age 19 and 8 years old and 2 girls age 16 and 9
I provide a smoke, pet free, warm caring and friendly environment for your child to learn and develop their skills using the 7 areas of learning as set out by Ofsted. my childminding business isn’t a nursery it is a home from home experience where your children will get to meet all their development milestones in a fun,caring and safe environment.
I have a fully enclosed back garden that is ideal for children to have lots of fun. I have a good sized play room that is stocked with lots of indoor resources e.g. games, books, musical toys,trains,dolls, puzzles and much more. I have a downstairs toilet and basin.
Every day is different to give children the opportunity to meet other children of their age and develop their skills. I enjoy helping children to learn and develop and feel proud to be part of their lives even if it is for a short time. I believe children learn best through play so I like to make activities fun and focused around their interests.
All meals are freshly cooked to ensure your children are happy and healthy.
I also provide pick ups and drop offs to and from Moss Park school & other local schools.

My Experience
I am a mother of 4 where experience has
been gained through each stages of their lives. I have worked in nurseries and private nurseries. The last job I had was as a teaching assistant for 7 years at a school of autism where I gained lots of experience.
My Qualifications
I have completed a NVQ level 3 in childcare. I am fully qualified in Paediatric First Aid, which I renew and update every 3 years. I have also completed a Food And Hygiene course.
I attend training courses on a regular basis to keep my self up to date with new legislation, also to broaden my knowledge which I can then incorporate into my setting.

Our twins have been coming to Bal & Gee for the past 4 months and have settled in amazingly after initially being nervous returning to work and leaving them in the care of someone else but the babies have thrived and are developing before our eyes. They are a lovely family and we couldnt be happier to have chosen them to care for our special girls.

We can’t be happier with our decision to send our 14 month old to Rainbow Childcare. Bal & Gurdas are a caring, warm & considerate team, our son loves them both as an extension of our family and we relaxed very quickly knowing that he is cared for and happy. The small setting with multiple children is a real bonus, giving our son a step into the wider world in a gentle world. Would recommend them & so happy they are part of our world!

My son has been attending Rainbow Childminders for half a year now and we have noticed my son developed so well in communication, social skills, physical and brain development over that time, thanks to Bal and Gee. They keep us up-to-date with photos of activities, a daily schedule of meals, snacks and naps. We also got support from Bal and Gee throughout his development milestone, e.g. advice about his sleep training at home. And we are satisfied with the level of care provided here.

Could not be happier beginning my child’s journey to nursery with Bal. I was nervous having my son away from us for the first time but she put my mind at ease and he settled in fantastically from the first session. With educational and playful activities, and photo updates during the day, we always felt very excited for him to spend the day with the group and he has developed both in confidence and aptitude due to the support and care given by Bal and her husband. I’m very glad he had such a nurturing environment before starting nursery, it has made the transition really easy on us all and I am very grateful for all the effort. Thanks Bal! 🥰

This was the first time ever using a childminder and Bal responded to my initial message so quickly. She was absolutely lovely and so reassuring throughout the whole process and also very welcoming on the drop-off day. The setting was wonderful too and looked so fun for children.
My child had a fantastic time and came home with lots of lovely little things to tell me. I would highly recommend Bal and can’t thank her enough for making the experience amazing!

I took my daughter (5 years ago) to Bal when her nursery was closed. We didn’t have time for settling period and despite that my daughter was very happy and had great time with her. And after all those year I took my son (16 months) to her for the day again no settling in but he was perfectly fine and happy. She provides such a calming relaxing environment for kids that they are happy and content. I cannot recommend her enough.

Our little girl started with Bal and Gee in February when she was 14 months old from the first day when she came home she was in such a good mood, singinging for the rest of the evening and could tell she felt comfortable there, by day 3 she didn't even look back at us when we dropped her off.
We gets lots of pictures of the activities she's been doing throughout the day and a summery atvthe end of each day. She is thriving there, a real home from home.
Would highly recommend Bal and Gee to anyone looking for a childminder ☺️

I would really recommend this childminder. We couldn't wish for better childcare than
Bal and Gee provide. Bal is the best place where you can leave your child. My two year old daughter is very happy. After two months at Ball, I noticed a great improvement in her pronunciation. Every morning when she wakes up her first question is if she's going to Bal.

Our little girl started with Bal and Gee when she was just over 9 months and she has settled really well and fast which shows how comfortable and happy she is being there. They both very attentive, listen to our requests and help with advice whenever needed. We are getting pictures throughout the day to see their activities and also end of the day summary to keep us updated on food intakes and naps. We are very pleased we have such a great childminders nearly on our doorstep and we would definitely recommend them.

My daughter started here last month having never been in childcare before. She has taken to Bal and Gee so well and she is quite happy to wave goodbye to me at the door every morning. Her settling in time was very quick, around 5 days or so, which I feel is super quick considering it's her first time and this just shows me how fantastic Bal is with her and how comfortable my little girl is with both Bal and Gee. They are so friendly and welcoming and keep me up to date throughout the day with her progress. We also get a list of all of the meals our daughter has had which we feel is a lovely touch.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thankyou both!
