Bal and Gurdas looked after our oldest son and they were like his second family. He used ask for them all the time during lockdown, Bal was like his second mum! đ
It was a no-brainer to have our youngest son looked after by them both. Itâs so hard as a parent to find somewhere that is a warm, relaxed and nurturing environment for your child, but Bal and Gurdas are. I trust them 100% and the care they give our sons has always been absolutely excellent. You can instantly relax knowing that your child is safe, happy and really well looked after. You can tell that Bal and Gurdas are parents - they have the experience and are a âsafe pair of handsâđ. Bal does lovely, really creative and interesting activities with the children, from sensory, Montessori activities to art and crafts and gets the children outside in the fresh air as often as possible. They provide an absolutely wonderful caring environment and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

After searching for the best childcare environment for my son and visiting 8 others childcare providers. I came across Rainbow childminders. My son was 9 months old at the time. It was therefore important for my husband and I that our son was placed within a happy, safe and caring environment to he began his early years journey.
I initially placed my son in a well known nursary chain which looked and seemed fantastic, however it became apparent very quickly that he was not happy there. He was visibly so miserable each time we collected him, that we knew this was not the right place for him.
Upon my sonâs first meeting with Bal he took to her warm nature. He was made to feel very comfortable within the Rainbow childminders environment.
My son settled quickly and was much happier.
Bal and Gurdas are highly experienced and provides plenty of learning opportunities through various play activities. The environment is safe and interactive, they are friendly, caring and monitor children closely. They are both professional and provided feedback as requested, updates throughout the day; which i find reassuring to see along with a useful overview at the end of each day.
Bal provides nutritious balance meals
and monitors our son closely during mealtimes as he initially experienced some food allergies when he was younger.
She has also been reactive when my son has been unwell.
It is very difficult as a parents to feel you have made the correct decision for your child when looking for a trusted childcare provider, however choosing Rainbow childminders has been the best decision for our sonâs care, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We feel very reassured our son is well looked after and he is developing extremely well under Rainbow childminders

Bal and husband G were great with my 14 month old twins. I was struggling to find a suitable childminder for my children with very short notice and Bal was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I was a bit worried because it was my twins first experience with a childminder but they took to Bal and G straight away with one of them even smiling when Bal opened the door on day 3! My children were happy and well looked after. Bal sent me photos throughout the day for reassurance. Their home was cosy, warm and clean. Even though I had to drop my children off quite early, Bal was always prepared and waiting. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bal and G as childminders.

My experience with Bal and her husband G has been fantastic!! They are a perfect team. My son is comfortable and happy and everything is always very well organised. Communication is always quite clear. The environment is clean, secure and appropriate for childcare. Bal and G have never let us down. I can get on with my work with peace of mind that my son will be collected and fed a warm meal, and be quite comfortable until I collect him. She responds promptly to my messages and calls and always has a smile when I arrive to collect my son. The children always look happy and content and get along well. I have never been more pleased.

Very good childminder. We feel comfortable leaving our kid there as she take care of our son like her own. Very much satisfied. Also the support we have been given since our son going there is fantastic and specially when your child is young his needs are very demanding but Bal and G works hard to fulfil those needs. Highly recomonded.

Bal and Gee are absolutely great! They have been very understanding and patient with us and our little girl, Zainab who is 2 following our big move to Manchester. Bal tried anything and everything to help our little one settle and within a few weeks she was asking us when she will go to see Bal and her friends! A huge thank you to Bal and Gee for providing a fantastic environment for our little girl!

My daughter has been with Bal for nearly 3months now and she has been very patient and accommodating. The first few weeks were very difficult for my daughter to adapt but Bal and her husband went out of their way in helping her settle by adapting to her needs. She is now more confident and also engages in many activities like playgroups, artwork, storytime etc. They provide a great clean environment for the kids to learn and grow and the regular updates and photos provided are a bonus! Both Bal and Gee are fantastic and very experienced with children and their friendly, patient and calm personalities are great attributes to have when working with children. I would highly recommend them.

Bal and Gee are outstanding childminders and genuinely lovely people. I feel so lucky to have found them. I felt that choosing someone to take care of my child was such an important decision to make, and my mind is at rest knowing that my little boy is in safe hands. My son has food allergies and digestive issues and I was concerned about how he would settle in, but Bal had first hand experience and I felt confident that she would know how to handle him. When I met Bal she was very organised and thorough and showed me all her paperwork. As well as being organised, she was also really warm and flexible and able to adapt to my childâs needs. I immediately felt I had found the right person on meeting her. Her assistant/ partner Bal is also so nice and calm and patient. My little boy took to him straight away when we met with them. They have looked after my boy for 3 months now and he is well settled in. I like the fact there is a small group of children of a similar age or slightly older, and my boy loves interacting with the other children. They have a lovely enclosed garden which my boy also really enjoys. Bal sends me pictures and I can see that he is happy and engaging in lots of fun activities. I highly recommend Bal and Gee.

My daughter aged now 15 months has been cared for by Bal for a few months now and I canât express enough just how wonderful Bal is. Eva settled very quickly and is so happy when I drop her and pick her up, itâs such a great feeling to know that she is very content and happy when at Balâs. Whatâs amazing is the amount of confidence Eva has gained since being around the other children and being in the safe friendly environment Bal provides, the opportunities Eva has from messy play, story time and outings with Bal and the other children has advanced her skills massively. Apart from Bal being great with Eva she is also very understanding and patient with parents. I love the level of detail I get when I pick Eva up from what she has eaten that day and when sheâs slept to all the fun things and art work she may have done that day. I feel very comfortable aproaching Bal and she is very clear and thorough in anything that needs to be discussed, the communication is fab. I honestly canât recommend Bal enough, everyday I feel lucky to have found someone I completely trust who has not only all the experience thatâs required but also the loving nurturing nature my child loves to be around, itâs a great feeling!

Bal provided a last minute babysitting service and our kids felt immediately at home. Would definitely use her again.
