Hi I’m Caroline, my childminding business name on fb is Caroline's Little Treasure's. I've chosen this name because i will treat your children, as my little treasures has they are so valuable and precious.

I love my job and this is the reason why its so important to me. Its a very rewarding job and its rewarding because you have chosen me to look after your precious treasures. I take my job very seriously, I offer a very high standard of care equivalent to a nursery, if not more has I offer one to one care but in a group environment. I have to follow the same criteria has all nurseries do. This is the Early Years Foundations Stage Framework (EYFS). Just like a nursery I have to be OFSTED registered and OFSTED Inspected. I work with your little treasures to support them and to achieve their full potential.
Every day we cover all 7 areas of the EYFS these are;
* Communication and language
* Physical Development
* Personal, Social and Emotional Development
* Literacy
* Mathematics
* Understanding The World
* Expressive Arts and Design.
We cover all these areas through the fun activities we do and the adventures we go on, at the parks and walks around or in the woods. Everything I plan throughout the day is for children of all ages. I think its very important that learning should be fun. this makes our little treasures want to come and get involved.

We attend different playgroups, soft play areas go on lots of walks and i enjoy being outdoors what ever the weather. One group I've started going is on an allotment. The treasures get to go and pick fruit and veg, they even get to eat it for their snacks. they get to be involved and are also able to grow fruit and veg there, and watch it grow over the weeks we go.

I've been OFSTED registered since 2015 and had my 1st Ofsted inspection in June 2017 I got graded GOOD. Which I was over the moon about.

I have two girls a 16 and a half year old and a 6 year old. My girls have a great bond even though there’s 10 and a half years between them. My 16 year old loves to come home and play games with her sister and the mindee’s.


I live in Buckmaster Avenue Clayton in a 3 bedroom semi with my partner and two beautiful daughters.
I have a separate playroom dedicated for my childminding children. My back garden is enclosed, and we've also started to build a separate childminding area with lots of different area. for the childminding children to learn and play in.

I'm a very chatty, outgoing person, people say I chat for England, which is good in this job.

I’m experience with new born babies, with being a mum to two children myself. Also I have experience with babies that have cleft palates. My 7 year old was born with a cleft palate. She had hers repaired at 7 Months old. She also had milk intolerance, silent/acid reflex. So I’m very experienced in this area.

I live 5 minutes drive from Royal Stoke University Hospital, and Newcastle town centre and Keele University. I'm about 5-10 minutes from the motorway. There are very good bus links into Clayton too.
