Excellent full time (Mon-Thurs/44 hour week), live out nanny position with warm and loving family in Kingston/Surbiton starting September 2021
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic nanny to join our large family and look after our 4 beautiful children- our oldest girl who is 7 and will be in Year 3, her younger brother is 5 and will be in Year 1, our cheeky 3 year old girl who starts nursery in September (3hrs in the morning) and finally our youngest daughter who will turn 1 in November.
A bit about us: Mum is Danish and dad is British. We both work in London (pre-Covid) though mum is currently on maternity leave (returning in mid-September). The expectation is that once we can return to the office, we will be working from home two days and be in the office two days a week. Our daughters are very sweet, very funny and incredibly kind to everyone around them (even each other!;) with the occasional cheeky behaviour-particularly from the 3-year-old! Our son is full of energy, aware he is the only boy among several girls so a true charmer with bags of personality. Our baby daughter is a fantastically happy and laid-back baby with the most heart-warming smile.
We live in a large semi-detached house with a big garden recently redone to entertain the kids (we have a large lawn, a small summer house with toys for the kids, a Wendy house, swings and a sandbox). We live in Surbiton (KT5) almost equidistant from Surbiton station (10mins walk) and Kingston town Centre (15 mins walk) our house is well connected with local bus services into either Surbiton High Street or Kingston Town Centre. We have a cleaner who comes twice weekly and no pets (though the neighbours two cats visit regularly to the kids delight).
My Requirements
This is a permanent and hopefully long term (preferably 2years+) position as a live out nanny (our last nanny was with us for 4 years). Mum doesn't work on Fridays so the position is for Mon-Thurs but for a 44hr week. The two older kids will be in school and afterschool club until 6pm most/ all days so main responsibilities would be for our 3-year-old after nursery and our baby daughter. You would undertake all the usual duties of a sole charge nanny with the key responsibility being to provide the children with a loving and warm environment, ensuring they are well cared for and nurtured in accordance with their developmental needs. You would support us in getting the kids ready in the morning for school/nursery drop off (husband happy to do the actual drop off) and then be in sole charge of our youngest baby. You would be responsible for nursery pick up of the 3-year-old but we would support in the pick-up of the older two.
