About Me
Hi, I'm Anna. I live in a three-bedroom house. We have a good-sized garden with a full range of equipment and toys to suit all ages for both indoor and outdoor use. We also walk to the park, farms, and various other outings.
I'm pleased to work based on the new programme of study – the EYFS 2024 areas of learning it’s about helping children to enjoy their play and learning and building their cultural capital over time.
My curriculum is coherently planned and well-sequenced. It builds on starting points from parents about what the child can and cannot yet do towards cumulatively sufficient knowledge and skills for their future learning.
I ensure children learn through play. I work closely with parents. Parents are kept up to date on their children’s progress.
Over the years, I have enjoyed providing rich, varied, and imaginative experiences for the children I’ve looked after. With all of the children, I take a positive approach to learning and encourage them to develop the characteristics of effective learning. Activities and outings are designed to help children think critically, and be active and creative learners.
I place great emphasis on encouraging children to use their imagination, develop their social skills, and a sense of community, helping them to grow in confidence and independence in readiness for the next big step in their lives.
As a parent, you can take comfort in the knowledge that every aspect of your child’s day and learning experiences are carefully considered to ensure they have the best opportunity to flourish.

My Experience
I have experience within childcare, I first began my career in childcare when I became a parent with my husband of three sons and understood the value of children. My eldest son graduated from university, the second is currently studying at university, while the third is in secondary school.
I began my teaching career in 1999 when I was a teacher at a primary school for over 10 years, thus I have lots of experience working at a school providing children with the support they need in all areas of the curriculum and taking responsibility for the progress of the class. Later I began to work within the nursery environment, which motivated me to move towards childminding as I would like to be able to provide children with more individual care and attention which can sometimes be missed within a busy nursery.
I love caring for the children and I take great pride in being a Childminder.
My Qualifications
Before my children were born, I was a professional teacher specialising in
religious studies. Now I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, and I ensure to meet the requirements set out in the New Early Years Foundation Stage. These requirements ensure the suitability the safety of the premises, insurance, record keeping, child protection and equality of opportunity.
I take my occupation choice very seriously and have trained hard to become very knowledgeable in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) requirements, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Safety.
I attend regular training sessions and have successfully completed the following courses:

I provide daycare from early mornings to 16:00 Monday to Friday and accept Funded Hours or Free Tax Childcare.

My son has been going to Ms Anna's since September this year and he loves it! When we get ready in the morning he often asks if we're going to Ms Anna's (even if it's not the day) and when he comes home from Anna's, he's happy and relaxed. Anna is a kind and caring, and I can tell Anna she's vey dedicated to her work, for all the right reasons and I count myself lucky to have found her. My son's speech has improved amazingly thanks to the visits, he also is much more involved and independent in playing at home. I highly recommend Anna's Childminding.

Anna is an absolutely brilliant childminder and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Our son is now 21 months old and has been with Anna since he was just 6 months old. Although I have three children, this was the first time I had used a childminder. I chose Anna after receiving lots of positive recommendations from different people, and I am so glad I did.
Anna is a very caring and kind person who truly puts the children first. She offers a wide range of activities, and it’s clear how much effort she puts into making each day enjoyable and stimulating. I am always confident that my son’s days with Anna are happy ones.
Since being in Anna’s care, my son has developed incredibly well. His speech in particular has come on so much, which I believe is down to the nurturing and engaging environment Anna provides. I feel completely at ease knowing my child is safe, well cared for and happy. I would highly recommend Anna to any parent looking for an excellent childminder

My twin girls have been going to Anna since September, and I honestly cannot recommend her enough. They settled in extremely quickly, which was such a relief, and I’m amazed each week by how much they have done. From the photos Anna shares and the way the girls run in excited to see her, it’s clear how much fun they have and how happy they are in her care.
It’s very clear that Anna’s teaching skills have been thoughtfully adapted to childminding. The girls are learning so much through engaging, age-appropriate activities, and I’m constantly impressed by the progress they’re making.
Anna’s onboarding process was very detailed and meticulous, which gave me great comfort and confidence from the very beginning. I always feel reassured knowing my girls are in such capable, caring hands.
I would happily have my girls with Anna every day if I needed to.

We’ve had the pleasure of Anna looking after our child for the past 2 years, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Anna has created a warm, welcoming and safe environment that helped our child settle in quickly and feel at ease.
Anna is attentive, nurturing and patient. She goes the extra mile to ensure the children are engaged with a variety of activities (creative arts & crafts, outdoor play and educational games).
Our child has developed socially and emotionally under her care and we have seen the confidence and independence as a result.
Anna is extremely flexible, communication has always been excellent with weekly updates and photos.
We wholeheartedly recommend Anna and we are so grateful to have had her look after our child. Thanks so much Anna you are the best :)

We honestly cannot put into words how grateful we are that Anna came into Mason’s life. From the very beginning, Anna showed the most incredible care, warmth, and dedication - not just as a childminder, but as someone who truly saw and nurtured the unique potential in each child. It was so clear that she cared deeply for every child she looked after, and this personal attention and love had a profound impact on Mason.
Over the 18 wonderful months Mason spent with Anna, his development was nothing short of amazing. His confidence, speech, curiosity, and emotional intelligence blossomed. He learned the importance of love, kindness, and helping others - values that were clearly fostered through Anna’s gentle guidance and the nurturing environment she created. Watching him grow into such a thoughtful, engaged little boy was a joy, and we credit so much of that to Anna’s influence.
Anna brought an incredible blend of experience and heart to her work. Her background as a teacher shone through in the way she structured learning through play, adapted activities to suit each child’s needs, and encouraged a genuine love of learning. Every day Mason came home full of stories, songs, and excitement about what he had done. He absolutely loved going to Anna’s, and it was no surprise - her home was a warm and stimulating environment, filled with toys, books, crafts, and a garden where the children spent lots of meaningful time outdoors.
We especially appreciated the thought and care Anna put into keeping us informed and involved. From the themed learning weeks to the beautiful progress journal and the lovely photos she shared, we always felt connected to Mason’s journey and could see clearly how much he was growing and thriving.
Anna was truly exceptional. Her reliability, passion, and professionalism were unmatched - she never once let us down, and we trusted her completely with Mason’s care and wellbeing. We still wholeheartedly believe she deserves an Outstanding Ofsted rating; in our eyes, she went above and beyond what we could have ever hoped for in a childminder.
Now that Mason has moved on to a larger class, we look back on his time with Anna with immense gratitude and affection. Thank you, Anna, from the bottom of our hearts. You made an incredible difference in Mason’s life, and in ours as parents. We feel so lucky that Mason had the chance to be cared for by someone as special as you.

Anna looks after our son 3 days per week, he is 2 years and 4 months old and started at 1 year and 7 months old.
Anna has been absolutely amazing for him; he has been learning at an extremely fast rate and is always so happy when going to Anna. He has great fun every day with his friends, conducting engaging activities and following a structured learning programme that Anna provides. Anna used to be a teacher so she is able to use those skills to guide him when learning new skills, and this makes a real difference.
The home environment Anna provides is a bit like a nursery in terms of the equipment available - there is an entire room dedicated to play and learning which is absolutely full of toys, books and anything else you might expect from a top-quality childcare setting. In addition to this, Anna has a large garden which has a lot of fun and educational activities - they spend a lot of time out there which is great for development. Anna also has a learning theme of the week, and sends photos to us to show how our son has got on in the week. We even have a learning progress journal to see how he's developing.
Anna is a rare example of someone who is absolutely dedicated and passionate to what she does. Anna is natively a Polish speaker, but that has not had any effect on our son's language development at all - in fact, his talking is quite advanced for his age - so you don't need to worry about that at all. Anna deeply cares about the children she looks after, and is extremely reliable; she has never been sick or not been able to take our son on the planned days.
I strongly feel that Anna should have been given an Outstanding Ofsted rating, because I fail to see how she could be any better. I take my son to her each day with confidence that he is going to have a brilliant day and without a single worry in my mind, which is important as a parent of a toddler.

For the past year, my daughter has been attending sessions with Anna, and I am extremely satisfied with the services provided. My daughter absolutely adores Anna. She is a warm, welcoming, and kind-hearted individual who truly excels in her work. I am grateful that my daughter is so happy and comfortable with Anna.
Anna is an excellent communicator; she takes the time to thoroughly explain everything whenever necessary. My daughter has learned a great deal from Anna, particularly in terms of educational development. I can confidently say that Anna is a dedicated and caring professional who genuinely believes in her work and values. I am truly appreciative of the positive impact she has had on my daughter.

I can recommend Anna to anyone looking for a trustful, dedicated childminder. My daughter enjoys going to her house, she's become more confident, her social skills and vocabulary have improved as well. Anna does loads of creative things with children. She is flexible with regard to swapping childminding days as and when. I really like that every Friday, I get photos of their weekly activities. Anna created a warm, friendly environment for children to play, and her house is very clean.

Anna has been a wonderful babysitter for our daughter Klara, who is 2.5 years old. Anna lives nearby and has been incredibly reliable. She not only looks after Klara but also helps her develop and perfect her skills. Klara always goes to Anna's with a smile on her face and comes back just as happy. There is great communication between us, and we feel fully informed about everything. Klara attends three times a week, but even when there are any changes to the schedule, Anna is always flexible and accommodating. We highly recommend her!

My son is attending since September 2023. From the very first day he didn't want to go home. He is always happy, smiley, he has progressed so much since he started.
