About Me
Fully Qualified Childminder with 20 years experience. I decided to go into childcare many years ago when my own children were little after leaving my full time job in a pharmacy to become a stay at home mum. 20 years later I’m still loving the decision.
I specialise in before and after school care working with children from Navigation Primary. We have different activities nightly to keep the children engaged and entertained. I also open earlier then most starting at 7am for our daily breakfast club.
My Experience
I’ve worked as a childminder for the last 20 years, meeting lots of lovely families along the way. My ethos is encouraging healthy choices, positive mental attitudes, laugher and fun.
These last few years have taken a toll on children and with that in mind, I have undertaken specialist training In mental health, covering self regulation and building confidence. I find that the children open up immensely when engaged with an activity, making our baking sessions/lessons the perfect opportunity for the children to air and discuss there worries.

My Qualifications
I hold an NVQ in childcare and over the years I have taken the opportunity to take advantage of the many areas of training we are offered. I’m first aid trained, hold a certificate in food hygiene and I’m up to date with safeguarding, speech and language and children’s mental health. My whole family hold enhanced disclosures. All certifications are available to view.
My Availability
I work Monday - Thursday 7.00am Till 5.30pm
Friday before school drop off 7.00am - 9am Term Time Only
Early starts are available on request.

Sarah has looked after my two children for the last 9 years, She is absolutely outstanding at the educational aspect required, but more importantly her maternal nature and care for them has been phenomenal. Both of my children have blossomed into intelligent, confident, compassionate young adults and for that we can’t thank her enough.
Sarah has gone above and beyond for our family, her flexibility with extra days and 7am starts have meant we have been able to fill our own work commitments with ease.
The children make healthy food choices and love to cook, thanks to fun cookery classes Sarah put on.
Sarah’s setting is the whole package, we highly highly recommend her.
