Dear Parents,
my name is Ania, I'm a recent PhD graduate looking to work as an afterschool/part time nanny/PA.
My time as an aupair/nanny was one of the most rewarding and happy period in my life, as I enjoy spending time with children, teaching them and answering their never ending questions.
I am also happy to help with any school work, especially English and Science subjects, Maths, Physics, Biology. You can read more about my experiences below.
Personally, I enjoy music, playing the guitar (when I have some spare time), cooking and baking, all sorts of arts and crafts projects (currently into arm knitting).
I'm also a big fan of movies/TV shows and enjoy cycling.
My Experience
I have 5 years of previous childcare experience here in the UK.
I started in 2010 as an au-pair for a year to two amazing kids, 10 years old Lauren and 5 years old Daniel. And for another year I was a nanny to 6 years old Olivia and 5 years old Sebastian. During that time I also looked after two beautiful kids, 10 and 16 months old for a few hours a week during the day which gave me the chance to get a hands on experience with toddlers.
From September 2016 I have worked with 3 families, supporting them on a part time/after-school basis with their routines and babysitting as well. From 2017 until 2019 I worked with a wonderful family of 2 kids, 8 years old Emma and 14 years old James, who were 6 and 12 at the time of startibg the position. After 2 years with them, in 2019 I decided to pursue a PhD which I have finished earlier this year. Currently I am looking for a part time/afterschool nanny position, until September 2025 in the first instance.
Previous jobs have required a good level of multitasking and time management, to keep on top of school routine and extracurricular activities. I also naturally have a proactive attidute to doing things that need doing, organising playdates and activites but also housework.
Having worked with kids of various ages, and some being also on the spectrum, I have a good understanding of and skills to create a dependable, loving, positive and boundary based environment for kids to feel safe in and thrive in.
I am highly educated in areas of science and maths and happy to help with homework, also have some previous tutoring experience. I am fluent in English.
My Qualifications
I have completed First aid training course, Safeguarding Children online course and have 5 years of childcare experience.
My Availability
late evening/night babysittings usually from 6:30 depending on location and day of the week.
All day weekends.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)
I cover any travel between Zone 1-2 so any journeys outside of those zones on a PAYG basis.
In case of extremely late babysittings, after midnight, I kindly ask for covering 50% costs of an Uber ride back home.
