My Summary

My Experience

I have experience in a child minding role. I worked as an au pair in Spain in July 2015, looking after three boys aged 4,5 and 6. My responsibilities included taking them to the playground, taking them swimming and then preparing their lunch and getting them ready for their afternoon nap. This experience enabled me to think on my feet and deal with unexpected challenges.

I also taught Irish dancing to a group of young dancers aged 5-8. I had to teach them steps and choreograph dances. I was able to do something fun and creative with the children and I thoroughly enjoyed this.

I have also babysitted for family friends irregularly, watching the children while their parents go out for a meal etc.

I have experience on school placements when I was doing my teacher training. I have taught children aged 5-11 and have experience building relationships with children and being responsible for large groups of children as well as planning and delivering lessons.

I have experience working in a private nursery, I have worked with babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

My Qualifications

I have completed the International Baccalaureate which is the international school equivalent to A- levels. I have an undergraduate degree in International Development and a Master’s degree in International Education and Development. I have just recently qualified as a primary school teacher.

My Availability

I am flexible with my availability. I can work any time on weekends and can also do Friday evenings.
