About Me
Hi I am an Ofsted registered Childminder, I am also accredited and therefore offer EYE funding( which I offer as 15hrs term time only or a stretched offer of 12 hrs over 47 weeks) , I am an Network Childminder and am a member of Prospects early years.
I work alongside my Husband John, we live in a quiet area with a green right opposite our house, we live near shops, parks and are within walking to Orchard Lea school, and only a short drive from Uplands School.
We provide a loving, happy and stimulating family environment, very much home from home, where I aim to offer individual care ,help and support for you and your Child, I believe it is essential to work together with you to offer the necessary continuity of care, by working together we will create a friendly trusted partnership that will promote the welfare and development of your Child, which in turn will help your Child feel happy safe secure and comfortable in my setting.
I pride myself in being approachable, sympathetic and supportive and have often gone above and beyond to help where I can when situations arise. The happiness of the Children in my care is paramount to me.
I am flexible and try to provide the necessary care to fit within your schedule, should it be different to normal hours
I offer a pick up and drop off service if necessary.
I follow EYFS and use The Tapestry online learning journal to follow your Child;s learning and development
My Experience
I have been a Childminder for 20 years and have looked after in excess of 250 children in that time, ranging from babies to 14 yrs, I have also brought up 2 Children of my own.
I have worked with various Children with special needs and severe allergies
opportunities to work with other professionals to aid Children's care and development such as area inclusion officer etc
