About Me
I am caring, well-mannered, articulate and responsible with a great deal of experience and interest in babies and children and their development. I am a confident child carer who is emotionally mature and possesses high energy levels and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. My excellent communication skills enable me to relate well with people at all levels.
I encourage children to live healthy, happy lives whist reinforcing positive behaviour through exploration and learning. Skilled in creating schedules, following commitments and maintaining routines, I listen carefully and follow directions well.
I am also a certified child sleep consultant with my own business - Tranquil Tots. I am able to advise and help parents develop healthy sleep habits for their babies/young children.
As a Mummy myself, my own children tend to accompany me to work during school holidays.
My Experience

Childcarer
From a young age, I have cared for and minded babies, children and teenagers (ages ranging from 3 months to 15 years) including overnight responsibility and minding children at special events e.g. weddings and parties. I have helped many families from all walks of life, one of which had five children in total. In January 2015 I gave birth to my first daughter and had my second daughter in September 2018.

- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks in line with parents’ expectations
- Supporting parents with sleep concerns including nap transitions, bedtime battles, co-sleeping and toddler bed transitions and helping to maintain healthy sleep routines
- Helping children with their reading and school homework
- Organising fun, educational activities, games and day trips for children and joining in with them wherever possible
- Helping parents maintain a tidy, clean home including laundry and ironing
- Pet and garden care.

Amie has been our nanny for almost two years, and is only moving on as we are going abroad for a while.
She has mostly looked after our littlest from when he was 21 months old, as well as helped out with our now 10 and 8 year olds after school and during school holidays.
Amie is an incredibly warm, patient and trustworthy person. We are a busy family of 5 plus a dog and have thrown a huge amount at her while she has been working with us which she has always taken in her stride. She has so much experience with children, both through nannying and as a Mum to two lovely girls herself and would add huge value to any family.
We will all really miss her!

Amie has been with us since March 2022 when our little girl River was just 3 months old! She does an outstanding job with her and has become such a great friend! She loves and cares for River like her own and we couldn’t ask for anymore. She has also had her overnight for us a few times when we’ve had occasions to attend to and River absolutely adores her! I would recommend Amie to absolutely everyone and you will be so incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful human in yours and your children’s life! River has learnt so much from Amie and we will forever be grateful for the time we have with you xx

Amie is the best nanny I had the pleasure to meet and know. She looked after my son for nearly a year and treated him like her own. Her experience was clearly evident in how confident she is with children, strong on their educational needs, and most of all - very responsible, honest and trustworthy. I would very often look up to her for advice even though it was my second baby. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amie is an outstanding nanny, she has made a positive difference to my daughters development, introducing her to new activities, encouraging her with her speech and reading skills and building her confidence in social situations.
Amie is caring, reliable, trustworthy and a great communicator, allowing us to feel completely at ease knowing our daughter is in safe hands whilst at work.
I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amie has looked after my children for the last few months-literally saving my life childcare-wise, and I can honestly say I couldn’t have been more delighted or found anyone more lovely, capable, caring and lovely to be around than Amie. My children think she’s great and are cared for as if they are her own, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amie has looked after my two children for the last 18 months, from when they were 4 and 5 years old.
She is confident and caring, completely trustworthy and my children adore her and her young daughter. I couldn’t ask for a more professional and loving person to entrust the care of my children to.
I highly recommend Amie for any family.

Amie is a very kind, caring nanny who is very trustworthy and reliable. My children adore her and look forward to the days that she looks after them. It has been fantastic going to work and not having to worry about what is happening at home.
Amie is pro active, independent and mature and just an all round really lovely person. A fantastic Nanny that I have no problems recommending.
