About Us

Castledyke Ltd is a private day nursery offering childcare for 33 children from 12 weeks to 5 years of age. We open from 7:30am- 6pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year. The nursery is an open plan setting divided into three areas a baby room, team toddler room, and a pre-school room.  All areas offer opportunities for children to learn and develop through a free-flow indoor and outdoor environment ensuring all children’s individual needs and interests are planned for, and celebrated throughout their time at Castledyke ltd following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS, 2013), a parent friendly version will be available on your home visit.

All the team are qualified to level 3 or higher and regularly attend any training needed to fulfil their job role and own professional development. They have safeguarding and first aid training which is continually updated when required.

We aim to work in partnership with parents,  listening and responding to any views or concerns, sharing achievements, experiences and progress. We can offer further support and guidance to those children who are identified with emerging difficulties or disabilities to ensure each child’s full potential can be achieved in preparation for transition into Primary education. Castledyke ltd recognises the important role that parents and carers play in their child’s learning and development also the benefits for children when the influential adults work in partnership.
