About Me
Central Cambridge (station area) based family seek help with after school care Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday during school term with possibility of extra hours during holidays and babysitting.
We have 2 children. Our son is 5.5. He is an engaging, curious, talkative, imaginative, energetic and sensitive boy. He is fascinated by building things from anything he can get his hands on especially Lego, mud or a combination of the two! He also loves baking and riding his bike. Our daughter is 2.5 she is very easy going and jolly. Currently she loves exploring books and experimenting with newly learned vocabulary.
My Requirements
Term time after-school / early evening care:
- Monday: 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- Tuesday: 5:00pm - 7:30pm
- Friday: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Extra hours during school holidays available if desired (up to 5 contracted weeks of 40 hrs/week)
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting eldest child (5.5) from School / after School clubs (<1 mile from our house).
- Collecting youngest child (2) from Nursery (2 minute walk from our house).
- Reading books / supervising reading practice with eldest child.
- Preparing light meals for both children.
We are looking for a caring, energetic, fun, imaginative and patient person. Preferably you already reside in central Cambridge and prefer travelling by bicycle instead of by car (and are willing / able to use the family Cargo bike for School collections)
£12-20/h depending on experience and qualifications.
Early years / Primary School teaching qualifications or TA experience for school year 1+ highly favourable.
