About Me
Ofsted registered childminder since 2007 (graded Good in at my last inspection 2023). I run my setting from my spacious house on Lincoln Road, Bush Hill Park, with a good sized garden.
I offer a wide range of fun toys and activities appropriate to the different age ranges of children from 0 to 12 years, ensuring they learn through play. Choosing my services will provide your child with an opportunity to learn from real life experiences in a loving and relaxed home environment. This in turn will help your child grow physically, emotionally and socially.
I provide healthy meals (lunch and dinner) and snacks, and cater for a range of different dietary requirements.
I believe that every child is an individual and will develop at his/her own pace. All the activities I provide take into consideration your child's age, developmental stage and likes/dislikes. Activities include visiting play groups, the library, arts and crafts, music, outdoor play/walks, messy play, baking and dressing up/role play.
I am based In Bush Hill Park and collect and drop off from George Spicer Primary School on Southbury Road as well as the Kimberly Gardens Site in Kimberley Gardens.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for the past 16 years, and I have cared for many children, meeting their needs, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, now grown up. Therefore, I am very confident with babies, toddlers and children of older ages.
I have worked as a special needs carer at the Belmont School in Wood Green for a year. It was from there that my understanding and appreciation of childcare developed.

Full time, part time, after school, before school and holidays, birth to 12 years old. My working hours are from 06.00am to 20.00pm Monday through to Friday.

We had the pleasure of having Abida as a childminder for our daughter, Alisa, and we couldn’t have been happier with her care. Alisa absolutely adored her and still runs to hug her whenever they meet!
Abida is a kind and open person who creates a warm and nurturing environment for the children. She is always approachable and happy to answer any questions. She cooks fresh meals for the children at home, takes them out for daily walks, and organizes wonderful activities like visits to the park, playgroups, and the library.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Abida to anyone looking for a reliable and caring childminder. She truly goes above and beyond for the children in her care!

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Abida as our childminder for three years. From the very beginning, it was clear that she wasn’t just providing childcare—she was creating a warm, loving, and nurturing environment where my son and daughter could truly thrive.
Abida looked after both of my children with so much care, compassion, and attention. She always went above and beyond to ensure they felt happy, safe, and supported. Every day was thoughtfully planned, filled with fun and enriching activities like arts and crafts, outdoor play, and reading. It was wonderful to see how much effort she put into keeping them engaged and helping them learn through play.

We couldn't be happier with the care our child receives from Abida. She provides a warm, nurturing, and safe environment where children can thrive. Our little ones have grown so much in confidence and absolutely love their time there.

I have been using Abida for over 5 years , she’s doing a great job , she’s kind patient perfect and know what she’s doing , my son is always happy to see her and looking forward to see her even when there is no need he still want see her for no reasons
, she always making sure he’s having a good time , he also love her food making sure he’s not hungry or thirsty always, I recommend her to anybody, I tried couple childminders before finding Abida and she’s honestly the best for me and also for my child !!!
