About Me
Hello, my name is Tess, and I am the owner of Alotta Tots Childminding situated in Aylesham Village
Alotta Tots is run from my home in Aylesham. We have a three-bedroom house with a back garden where you will find a lovely blue cabin, where all the fun begins.
The cabin is designed so children can access learning resources linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage. They will have access to toys in all 7 areas of the government-led curriculum, as well as, outdoor messy play, sensory play and endless possibilities of physical play. The children will have access to community outdoor areas, such as play parks and country parks; we will also go on regular adventures to playgroups, libraries, the zoo, cafe?s, role play, soft play (if age appropriate) etc. We may even travel by bus! The list is endless - all trips will be risk-assessed and I will hold the correct car insurance.
Alotta Tots offers free-flow play with a balance of structured routine, i.e. breakfast time, lunchtime, story time snack time and tidy-up time. I will provide children with activities I feel they show interest in, however, I do encourage child-led play as it gives them a sense of confidence and independence. Learning development gaps will be identified through play where I will plan activities to enhance their development.
Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety - I am certified as required for providing children with food in my setting or for baking activities.
• Breakfast - I will provide all children who start before 9am with breakfast. I will offer the children a selection of cereals or toast. Parents are welcome to provide breakfast if preferred/weaning.
• Snacks - I will provide all children with two daily snacks consisting of fresh fruit/ veg and a bread-based snack.
• Lunch - Parents are required to provide their child with a lunch consisting of balanced items and to be mindful of allergies.
Monday - Friday
7am - 6pm

My Experience
I specialise in safeguarding children and young people, parental and Multi-agency partnership working as well as working in Early years settings.
I have 10 years of experience working with children combined with educational settings and Local Authority services.
I also have two children of my own so I come packed with professional and motherhood experience.
My Qualifications
Childhood studies foundation degree (level 5)
BA Hons degree in Social Work
I am paediatric first aid trained, and I have undergone safeguarding training I have taken a refresher training course for the Early Years Foundation stage, to ensure my Early Years knowledge is up to date.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Childminding Fee - £6.50 per hour, per child (minimum of 10 hours per session - as I am unable to provide full-time sessions to other families if part-time sessions are maxed out).
• Outings and Petrol - are at charged £2 per day.
• Snacks - are charged £1.50 per day.
• Advanced Payment - to secure your child’s place a deposit will need to be paid. This is a 4 weeks fee which will be deducted from your final notice period bill, as long as there is no debt on the final bill.
• Payment Dates - Fee’s need to be bank transferred to me by the 1st of each month.
• Closures - I will not charge fees if Alotta Tots is closed.
• Bank Holidays - Emergency Care Only
Babysitting Fees start at £12 but vary depending on time of day and how many children
