Fabulous!

Mary took care of my 7 year old daughter when she had not got a place in school for few days. She is amazing and very friendly. My daughter liked interacting with her and a the other kids. She is very helpful n professional. Highly recommended.

Amazing childminder, highly recommend

After going back to work when my daughter was 5 months old I knew the only childminder I trusted to take care of my child was Mary. I worked with Mary many years ago and know how fantastic her relationship is with children and babies. Mary understood my anxieties about leaving my only child and she always answered any queries I had. My daughter was a slow settler and Mary understood this and supported me and my child throughout the settling in process. Mary is kind, caring, fun and fair. Mary sets realistic boundaries and makes learning so much fun. My daughter once settled loved her time with Mary and enjoyed all the activities on offer. As a family we felt supported when changing routines and through my daughter’s introduction to solid foods. Activities were always varied, I knew my child would be getting lots of fresh air, develop healthy social skills, delicious and nutritious food and lots of fun. Mary’s attention to details was fantastic and even years after my daughter has gone on to school and I still love looking through her old observations, photos and pictures from her time with Mary. I cannot recommend Mary highly enough and her passion, love and knowledge really does make her the best

Mary looked after my little girl from 12 months old till she started school. From day one Mary made us both feel welcome in her company, I can honestly say, there wasn’t a day where I felt uncomfortable leaving my little girl all day, whilst i went to work, as I knew she was in good hands, and Mary would always update me throughout the day with fun activities she had done with her.
Mary’s was definitely like going home from home, she was more like family to us than just a childminder. She always prepared lovely fresh meals, (and would often saved me some to take home, knowing I probably wouldn’t have time to cook for myself after finishing a long shift) days out and many fun activities, she always went above and beyond. My little girl adored Mary as well as her daughter, and was always excited to go, which made me happy to see, when I had to go to work. I was sad when I had to put my little girl in school as we both missed our visits to Mary’s.

Fantastic childminder!

I’m a mother of 3 young children. My eldest 2 both attended a nursery setting and both did very well. However by the time my 3rd came along, family circumstances meant that Grandparents were no longer able to help out so my youngest was sent to different (and cheaper) nursery than the older two had attended. My gut feeling about the place and his experience there meant I swiftly removed him again just as Mary had spaces available. Having experienced a great nursery (and one I wasn’t keen on) followed by a childminding service I can honest say it’s the best thing we did. Mary’s is like a home from home for my youngest whilst still getting all the benefits of a nursery education, probably more in fact as Mary’s EYFS knowledge is brilliant. He’s counting, recognising numbers, sounding out letters and drawing pictures that actually look like what they are supposed to be!
Any previous reservations or worries I had about him not getting a ‘classroom’ experience have disappeared, seeing him flourish in Mary’s care makes me realise that he doesn’t need a classroom setting to settle into school when he goes. Whilst he’s with Mary he’s learning about food prep, he’s painting, he’s playing with a variety of toys and Mary has helped him develop into a confident little boy.
Mary is really responsive, she keeps in contact with us throughout the day, always handing my son over at the end of the day with details of what he’s been doing, what he’s eaten (and he really loves Mary’s food, especially the pasta!) and where they have been. He never comes home dirty, regardless of what they’ve been up to during the day.
I would highly recommend Mary to anyone considering a childminder, my son feels valued and loved at Mary’s and that is evident in the way he has developed.

Fabulous Chilminder

My daughter was in Mary’s care for few months and it was really Fantastic.
Mary was really organised her place is very clean and the most important thing to mention is that she really gives all her time to make sure that the kids she is caring are feeling comfortable and doing her best to make them happy.my daughter enjoyed her time there as the place was warm and stimulating environment for the children which includes a wide variety of activities and lots of trips out.She developed my little baby food introduction and lots of other important things that even us as mothers might not have time to teach to our babies.
I really recommend Mary as she is really very kind and easy to communicate.
Thank you Mary for all the efforts you give to my daughter.xx
