Nurturing Young Minds In A Warm, Home-Like Setting
About Me
Welcome to Little Giggles Daycare: A Place Where Your Child’s Potential Blooms
Hello, my name is Cassie, and I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder with a profound commitment to nurturing the young minds entrusted to my care. I am also a proud member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY), an organisation that upholds the highest standards in early years education.
At Little Giggles Daycare, we are more than just a childcare provider; we are a community dedicated to the holistic development and well-being of each child. Our setting is not merely a place where children are looked after—it is a sanctuary where they are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow in an environment brimming with love, warmth, and security.
Our Team: A Wealth of Experience and Dedication
The cornerstone of Little Giggles Daycare is our exceptional team. Alongside myself, I am fortunate to work with two highly experienced assistants. One is a fully qualified childminder, and the other is a seasoned Nursery Nurse. Both bring a wealth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to their roles, ensuring that every child receives the individual attention they deserve.
My own journey in childcare began over nine years ago when I served as a Foster Carer. During this time, I had the profound honour of caring for some of the most vulnerable children in our community. This experience has deeply shaped my approach to childcare, imbuing me with a deep sense of empathy, patience, and understanding. My assistants, with up to 20 years of experience in various childcare settings, share this ethos, and together we provide a level of care that is both compassionate and professional.
Our Philosophy: Learning Through Love and Play
At Little Giggles Daycare, we believe that the early years of a child’s life are the most crucial. These formative years lay the foundation for all future learning, behaviour, and health. With this in mind, we have designed our daycare to be a place where children can flourish. Our approach is holistic, focusing on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
We believe that children learn best when they are engaged in play, and when they feel safe, loved, and valued. Play is not just a way to pass the time—it is a vital educational tool that helps children make sense of the world around them. At Little Giggles, play is carefully structured to be both fun and educational, ensuring that every moment is an opportunity for learning.
Our Environment: A Home Away from Home
The environment we have created at Little Giggles is one that is both stimulating and comforting. Our two large, designated playrooms are thoughtfully designed and filled with a wide range of toys, books, and educational resources that cater to the diverse interests and developmental stages of the children in our care. These spaces are bright, cheerful, and inviting, providing an ideal setting for both structured activities and free play.
Beyond the playrooms, we have a beautiful, enclosed garden where children can enjoy the fresh air and engage in outdoor play. The garden is equipped with a variety of toys suitable for all ages, from sand and water play to tricycles and climbing frames. We believe that outdoor play is essential for a child’s development, offering them the freedom to explore, imagine, and engage with the natural world.
In addition to our in-house activities, we regularly venture out to explore the wider world. We have a lovely park close by, which we visit frequently throughout the year, allowing children to connect with nature and experience the changing seasons. We also organise trips to local toddler groups and soft play areas, providing children with opportunities to socialise with their peers and experience new environments.
Our Commitment to Health and Well-being
At Little Giggles Daycare, we understand the importance of nutrition in a child’s development. We are committed to providing balanced, healthy meals that are both delicious and nutritious. Every day, we prepare a varied menu that includes breakfast, a mid-morning selection of fresh fruits, lunch, and tea. Our meals are thoughtfully planned to incorporate a wide range of fruits and vegetables, ensuring that children receive all the essential nutrients they need to grow and thrive. We also place great emphasis on the importance of hydration, encouraging children to drink water regularly throughout the day.
Our Promise to Parents
Choosing the right childcare provider is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. At Little Giggles Daycare, we strive to offer a service that is not only professional and reliable but also deeply personal and welcoming. We see ourselves as partners in your child’s journey, working closely with parents to ensure that every child’s needs are met and that their potential is fully realised.
We are committed to maintaining open and honest communication with parents, providing regular updates on your child’s progress and daily experiences. We understand that every child is unique, and we tailor our approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each family we work with.
A Labour of Love
For us at Little Giggles, caring for children is not just a job—it is a calling. We are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Every day, we are inspired by the joy, curiosity, and resilience of the children in our care, and we are dedicated to creating a daycare experience that honours and nurtures these qualities.
We invite you to join the Little Giggles family, where your child will be cherished, encouraged, and celebrated. Together, we can provide your child with the best possible start in life.
My Experience
Over the course of nine years, I have had the profound privilege of serving as a Foster Parent, during which I cared for children ranging in age from 1 to 18 years. These children came from diverse backgrounds, each with their unique stories, challenges, and abilities. This experience has profoundly shaped my approach to childcare, providing me with a deep understanding of the complexities and joys involved in nurturing children from all walks of life.
Throughout my time as a foster carer, I have had the opportunity to care for children with additional needs, tailoring my approach to ensure that each child received the individual attention, support, and encouragement they required to thrive. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability, and has equipped me with a broad skill set to address a variety of developmental and emotional needs.
Being a foster carer also allowed me to develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, recognising the vital role that collaboration plays in a child’s development. I worked closely with families, maintaining open and respectful communication, and ensuring that their voices were heard and valued in the care process. This collaborative approach extended to my work with outside agencies, where I engaged confidently with professionals across various disciplines—such as social workers, therapists, and educators—to ensure that each child’s care plan was comprehensive and cohesive.
In addition to my role as a foster carer, I have also supported other registered childminders as a 'Back-up' carer. This role further expanded my experience in working within the childminding community, allowing me to provide consistent and reliable care when needed. It also reinforced my commitment to upholding the highest standards of care, whether in a primary or supportive role.
These experiences have deeply enriched my understanding of childcare, reinforcing my belief in the importance of creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. They have also strengthened my ability to work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals, ensuring that the children in my care receive the best possible start in life.

Cassie and her assistants have given our daughter the best start we could have wished for. Every day was filled with love, fun and learning to socialise in their caring, stimulating, positive and safe environment. Our girl has made huge progress in speaking and her confidence in general. We are very grateful to Cassie and her team and could not recommend them more.
